This was a very charming Inn. We loved the relaxing atmosphere, friendly and courteous service, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location, so close to town, was great. A more comfortable bed would make this a perfect getaway.

The property is absolutely beautiful! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast and happy hour were excellent! I would highly recommend this to anybody staying in the downtown Napa area.

Blackbird Inn was a delightful B&B which is located across the street from the Wine Spectator and a short walk to the downtown area which a slew of restaurant options. We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely turn of the 20th century home, the hospitality, and the easy social atmosphere during the daily breakfast and Happy Hour. We highly recommend this darling inn.

It was our first time in Napa and we are so glad we decided to stay here. The staff were lovely and our room was great. We loved the huge bath tub in our bathroom. We were just blocks away from downtown so it was really nice to be able to walk back and forth through our visit instead of dealing with driving and parking. We will definitely book here again when we come back to Napa.

The room was beautiful, nice deep tub and fireplace.We sat in front of the fireplace to warm up after a cool evening walking in Napa. The room had two entrances (one right next to check in and the other emptied out into a small terrace quite close to the street) . The terrace entrance we didn’t use because it didn’t appear too well lit when we went out in the evening. Being so close to the street you do get traffic noise. One drawback to the Inn is the driveway it is off a busy road and comes up on you rather quickly. We had to try twice to make it in safely. It could be marked with a larger sign. Some people may like staff seen but not heard. I am not one of those. I feel staff could have been friendlier. The lady who checked us in was nice , showing us around ad indicating the amenities. The gentleman the next day I don’t remember saying a word. Leaving the key at the front desk he barely responded with a nod and no eye contact.

A charming Inn, peaceful, quite, and clean. You would think you had the house all to yourself. Seldom heard or saw staff and guest. My wife and I will definitely stay there again when we return to Napa.

Didn't want to leave!

We so wished we had stayed here longer instead of splitting up our vacation between Napa and San Francisco! We'll only stay here in future!!! The reviews were right about location, downtown is few walking blocks away! We enjoyed our daily hot breakfast and since the wineries close by 5, the wine happy hour with charcuterie was a good social hour where guests shared their day experiences, we got alot of good tips! We were texted in advance our fireplace stopped working, left bottle of champagne for inconvenience and upgraded room. We'd picked our room for the fireplace and the soaking tub. We stayed in our original room (#7) the first night and I really loved relaxing in the tub, they even provide bath salts! Although the fireplace wasn't working there was a very modern digital heating/ cooling system so we were never uncomfortable. We talked about just staying in that room, but my husband saw the upgrade room (#12) the next day and there was no talking him down afterwards LOL! We moved to the separate house, very large suite with balcony, walk-in closet and very large bathroom, they were not kidding about upgrade! What a gorgeous suite! Beds were on firmer side, did aggravate my sciatica, but between soaking and icing kept it under control. Amenities like infused cucumber water, coffee, tea, snacks were always available. Please take time to appreciate all the intricate woodwork and painted glass details! We met the owner Scott, the builder, while he was cleaning the leaves!
