It is a poor but safe area in Napa. Impeciably clean motel but too many "decorations" everywhere. Run by a lovely couple. Very gracious. Needs decor updating. Beds and cleanliness wonderful!!! I would stay there again because of the couple who run it. But, overall a "C" rating because it it needs decor updating.

Very clean rooms / no real closet space & somewhat awkward access / no bathroom counter to speak of / mattress is excellent with nice bedding / The gentleman at the front desk is extremely nice & very accommodating….very welcoming. Only went to a Starbucks close by - nice. Good parking…l Chardonnay Lodge is right on a major road, so you do hear traffic. Some of the write-up & photos about the “lodge”are misleading so our arrival was surprising.

Solid former motor motel, turned into Napa Valley themed boutique. Single story, tight quarters but comfortable. No services, breakfast, etc. but affordable when many choices are quite overpriced. North end but pleasant 15 min walk into town. It’s near the ButterCream Bakery, which is awesome!

The small garden areas the owner created to sit and have a glass of wine or just enjoy the garden was thoughtfully planned and a nice touch to the hotel.

The property is in a very convenient location, which we greatly appreciated, but the street is quite busy and definitely not picturesque. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a wonderful bakery/diner down the street: the Butter Cream Bakery and Diner.

Beautiful gardens with great parking. Clean room and welcoming staff. No fridge or microwave as stated in description. Thin walls so you can hear your neighbors sadly. Shower flooded the bathroom floor very easily. Very convenient for Napa at a very reasonable price.

The room was clean, the staff was very nice, and the price was decent for Napa Valley. But this was not at all what it looks like in the advertising/profile. The pictures make it look like this is a hotel in a winery. It is not! It is a motel in a rundown area of town. And the rose garden is nothing more than a small little patch of bushes and benches in the parking lot. Very misleading!

Chardonnay Lodge BAD BEWS!

I am asking for my money back on this overnigh. , this turned out to be a 1 1/2 hour stay and I picked myself up and cousin and I left! It was in a bad neighborhood! The pictures are a lie it does not look like this at all! It was a 104’ day and the air blew hot air! The room was moldy smell and since I have asthma this was bad! Musty horrible smell. I rarely have to use a rescue inhaler and I had to I knew I had to leave for health reasons. The woman in the front refused to help us and said she had no more rooms and the engineer could not come out to fix the air. The air conditioner was too old to fix. The woman in the front bad attitude Take this off your list of hotels hotels.com I have two more stays with hotels.com and if this is not resolved and I do not get a refund on my the card I paid with will end my business stays I CANNOT BELIEVE TOU HAD THE NERVE TO ALLOW SUCH FRAUD! This place was a dump, looks like the photographer should however, get an academy award for the pictures special effects. Very unhappy customer with a real reason to be!
