No staff on site but we were met and given very clear instructions on accessing the room. Friendly and let us check in early and leave suitcases after check out - these were in a communal area for the day so slightly nerve-wracking but safe. Hotels.com website suggests breakfast is included but it isn’t, not even coffee in the room! Tea available in communal area. Close to the old town streets.

The host allowed us to check in early, sending instructions via WhatsApp, which was appreciated. However, no staff were on site. However, the room was dirty and missing key items such as a kettle (and no sign of breakfast). There were dark hairs that weren't ours all over the floor and in the bed itself. The sheets, throws and mattress were all heavily stained. The toilet seat was broken and the balcony door required heavy lifting to close completely in order to shut out the city noise. The host was quick to respond when messaged. However, they failed to acknowledge our initial message about the broken toilet seat. When we later messaged about the stained bedsheets and mattress (which we discovered a little later in the day) they doubted our concerns and became somewhat passive aggressive. They did eventually agree to send a cleaning company and offered a mattress cover, but this was too little too late. We decided to book another guest house 2 minutes up the road, without asking for our money back. We would highly recommend avoiding this place - and looking a bit further up the same street for a completely different experience!

Great location - good room.

Maurice the AI porter was a great addition giving quick answers however I'd asked during staffed hours for more pillows and none arrived. My pillow was so thin it made sleeping difficult. The towels were damp (clean but damp) Location wise it's a great. The room was clean and the Aircon worked well There was a kettle but no mugs or coffee, and we informed them there was no hand soap again it wasn't replaced. Great location - a few little changes and this would be an amazing room.
