Great hotel, questionable location

Room was great! Fridge was stocked, beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. The only thing to complain about it the location - the hotel itself isn’t in a very good location. It’s not close to a lot of food places and the neighborhood is a little sketchy.

One solo evening restaurant. Small two grocery stores. Hotel has good breakfast. 7 minutes walk to line 1 metro. Getting to hotel if more than one person take taxi $25 Euro. Can take alibus 5 Euro to garibaldi. Then take metro for 1.5 euro from garibaldi to Centro Direzionale. Getting around is kind of hard. Taking a taxi is 10-15 euros inside Naples. Metro line 1 takes you to Toledo street and duomo street.

Good Proximity to Airport - Parking, Shuttle

Hotel is quite nice and modern and clean. It's in a more industrial area but close to the airport. I chose it because of 1) airport proximity; 2) airport shuttle; 3) parking - hard to find hotels with onsite parking in Naples. This gave us options to turn in our car early or not depending on how things went. Staff is very helpful - we had a car and chose the parkiing option. The valet service and staff were helpful with driving tips and information. Everyone spoke good English. There are several restaurants inside the atrium area but not really anything outside the hotel complex. We did not venture out. We spent 1 night before flying out the next day. We did the included breakfast and it was a buffet with many, many choices - breads, meats, fruit, eggs, espresso machines, tea, waters, and more.

The parking garage is dangerous, we were almost hit head on by a truck flying out of the garage as we were attempting to pull in for parking. The front desk is located on a level where traffic is crazy, homeless people hang out, there is graffiti and trash everywhere. The buildings are abandoned and unsafe.

We were charged for parking when parking was included in our rate. When we brought up that we had been erroneously charged for parking we were told that charge had already happened so all they could offer were a couple free drinks at the hotel bar. The front desk is a horrific mess during check in and check out times, there’s zero consistency of how you are treated by the staff, and I’m wondering how many people have suffered the same situation as we did.
