It is better to get a taxi to reach this accommodation as roads are very difficult to walk on with luggage. Also, the rooms are upper levels without a lift. Total 65 steps up and it is very challenging to carry the luggages up, particularly when we both are 60 over. Breakfast is pretty basic and communication is not easy since we speak no Italian and the receptionist speaks very little English.

This was a cute updated room in a historical building. Lots of stairs but that is clearly stated. Genaro was great and brought both our suitcases up the stairs. He booked us a taxi for our 6 am return on the second day. I would book again.

Was really a clean place in a very busy town close to the beautiful historical attractions of Naples and the staff were very welcoming, respectful and ready to help with everything we needed. Definitely a good choice if you want to be walking distance from everything in Naples. There is an underground parking lot in a parallel street just next to the place less than 200 meters. A bit pricey for 1 night but very safe considering no place to park in the streets.

It is a fairly long way from the railway station and you have to climb many steps. The place is up four flights and if you have heavy suitcases you better be young and powerful. The breakfast is a joke. You go to this coffee stall and get a croissant and a cup of coffee from a grumpy owner. Overall I did not care for this place.

B&B in posizione strategica

Struttura situata in pieno centro a Napoli, in posizione strategica per raggiungere a piedi gran parte dei punti di interesse. Situata al secondo piano di un palazzo storico, in una zona silenziosa. Camera sufficientemente spaziosa, arredo minimale ma sufficiente, bagno ampio, doccia enorme, unico piccolo appunto, forse il bagno necessiterebbe di una leggera manutenzione. Colazione non in loco, ma presso un bar convenzionato distante pochi metri, cappuccino e pasta (ottima e abbondante) più che sufficiente per iniziare la giornata fra le vie di Napoli, dove le possibilità di integrare la colazione non mancheranno. Di sicuro dovessimo tornare a Napoli alloggeremo di nuovo qui.

Recommended option in historic centre of Naples

This small property is right in the historic centre of Naples, yet tucked away in a side street so not too noisy. Room 1 which I stayed in is quite small, but this is reflected in the description and price. Crucially, it is clean and the room had been refurbished. Breakfast is at a bar just around the corner. It was the best coffee and croissant I had on my entire 2 week trip, and the welcome there was exceptional. The owner of the Inn helped me with my luggage, but if you have mobility issues it might not be suitable for you, as it's on an upper floor. Otherwise, this is highly recommended.

Ottimo b&b con colazione presso un bar a pochi passi. Gennaro ci ha dato un ottima accoglienza consigliato su varie visite. Camere pulite, confortevoli con anche possibilità di farsi un tè. Inn al secondo piano (senza lift) di un tipico edificio in un vicolo del centro storico all'incrocio con Spaccanapoli da cui si raggiungono varie attrazioni anche con la Metro che dista a ca. 5-10 min a piedi. Ci tornerei sicuramente la prossima volta a Napoli.

This is a lovely place to stay. Its location is fantastic and the owners are the absolute best! The stairs are a bit of a hike but it’s a historic building and worth it for such a fantastic stay. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Very nice hotel

The room was very good and the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast in the cafe along the street, the fresh orange juice was excellent. An excellent place to stay in Napoli.

Charming!!!!!!! So so quaint, ambiance a perfect 10. Incredibly cute, updated , clean room. Staff very welcoming. I LOVED this hotel. Breakfast a couple doors down was just as nice…coffee/pastries in a cute outdoor, roadside setting. Noise blocking windows when closed, lots of fresh air when open in our room. One small complaint was not enough bed pillows… I say this about every hotel and travel with blow up pillows for extra oomph to be fair. Nice hotel Santa Chiara Inn!!! Thank you for a wonderful night in Napoli!!!
