Very easy check in, we had the most amazing time from start to finish! The cottage was well presented and had everything we needed. Beautiful location. The only thing is we checked in at 4pm and the hottub was cold - we was not able to use till the next morning once we waited for it to warm up over night. Also there was no oven gloves ect. So when cooking we had nothing to get the food out of the oven. Pet friendly which we enjoyed having the pup with us.

Overall excellent but a few niggles: the toaster is compact not full size so it doesn’t take a whole piece of bread; the basin in the en-suite is one of those stupid tiny basins in which you can barely wash your little finger; and the tap is the idiotic type with twist for water and temperature so to get hot water you have to have a raging torrent. Would prefer if the hot tub was screened from the adjacent property.

Overall we had a great stay. A few down points for us, mainly the cleanliness. There were cigarette ends scattered in the outside area, there was toothpaste scattered up the bathroom wall, hairs all in the main bed and the dining chairs were awfully stained. Otherwise the property appears from the photos to be the whole cottage, but there is part of the property which is attached and is a separate booking (luckily not booked when we were there). Also the garden backs onto another additional property which can be booked out, and overlooks the hot tub area and is not fully enclosed. Location is good, close to everything you need.

Beautiful place to stay, fantastic facilities, fantastic site and views. The only downside I found was not being able to check in till 16:00, and having to be out for 10am. No real time to have a nice chilled out morning and enjoy the surroundings, and 3 dirty pans in the kitchen. Also broken glass out by the hot tub and a bottle full of cigarette ends. But other than that we loved it and would 100% recommend and stay again.
