We were so happy with our stay at Cambria Midtown. Perfect location to not be in the business of Downtown, but still walkable or a short uber. The rooms were clean and felt so cozy. The staff were so lovely!

No valet for Manual cars

The only issue we had was when we got there and was told we would have to park our car ourselves, as no one on staff, knew how to drive a manual car. The parking garage is down the street on the opposite side of the road. Each time we needed to retrieve our vehicle, my husband had to walk all the way and retrieve it. I would highly recommend that this issue is resolved, as there are many manual vehicles in use.

The location was great. The only down side was the rooftop was not open Sunday and Monday all day, the only two days we stay there we were really looking forward see the view from up there!

Our stay was just okay. We were informed at arrival that the only parking was valet at $40 a day. Which was fine, but kind of surprising that there wasn't any self park option- since this Cambria location is more secluded and less busy than the one closer to Broadway. We were told our room would be on the top floor with a "nice view". The view was of a parking lot and an adult toy store 😂 The room itself was cozy and pretty modern, but dusty. The beds were very comfortable. We had drinks and an appetizer at the lobby bar. The bartender was not very friendly, not rude either- just not engaging at all. The bread on our flatbread pizza was soaking wet soggy but our martinis were great. Then we ventured to the rooftop bar/dining area, Rux. Our server was very kind and accomodating. The area was clean and well maintained. Our drinks were good. The wedge salad was fantastic. The truffle pasta was bland and so was the chicken. Overall our experience was pretty good, but not impressive. We will definitely be staying at one of the other hotels downtown next time.

It appears there may be a management issue as the valet parking was completely unorganized and backed up. I had to literally go get my own car one day because nobody was there. It’s a very busy street and there’s not enough staff parking cars. I would not stay here again
