I made the mistake of digging deep into reading the reviews AFTER booking the home (not my finest moment). Some doubt and concern began to sit in but it was too late to change our minds. All of that to say...we were pleasantly surprised to see that any of the previous complaints regarding this property have been addressed: brand new couch, clean sheets, etc. While they can't do much about the seedy neighborhood, we weren't too worried about it since the fire department was within eye shot of one of the upstairs bedrooms. A few little things came up during our stay but nothing that compromised our weekend and they were "Johnny on the spot" about each thing. The location was great to many things we did and we would definitely come back when we are in the area.

The house is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the spacious, comfortable house. The mattresses on the beds were also amazing, we had a very restful sleep. We will definitely book this house again next time we visit Nashville. Thank you so much for the easy texting conversations and the key less entry worked great.

Ruined vacation
The place smelled of pot. There was garbage on the lawn including a paste on finger nail and dog poo. There was a stain on the wall, the stove hood in the kitchen was filthy, the place was gross. You had to go down an unlit back ally to get to the driveway. The neighborhood was seedy. They said they changed the couch but the one they replaced it with looked used and worn. Complaints were handled in an unprofessional manner. We could not stay there and there was no compensation offered for the horrible experience they caused on our vacation.

I will say the inside of the house has been nicely renovated but there were a few things that should be addressed. Outside of the house: 1) the neighborhood could use some serious up keep. There were 2 mattresses laying in the road behind the house. 2) cars were on center blocks with busted windows. 3) trash in several places. Inside the house: 1) the ice maker on the refrigerator did not work. There were parts of the ice maker laying in the bin. We ended up going and buying bags of ice for the weekend. 2) there wasn’t 1 bottle of hand soap anywhere to be found or dishwasher soap. Not a single bathroom had soap in it to wash your hands. Again, this is an easy purchase but if this is something that is not provided you may want to list it so renters know to bring their own hand soap. 3). The guest bedroom with the queen bed did not have a fitted sheet and blood stain on the mattress. If renters are expected to bring their own sheets then this should be listed. Blood stain is pretty gross and should be addressed. Parking: 1) it might be helpful if renters are told where the driveway is. It’s down a very small side street and if you didn’t know it could be confusing. The house was conveniently located to downtown sis that was a perk but it definitely needs some TLC. There are other rentals in the same price range that we wish we would have rented.

Clean and comfortable!
This was a great place to stay for our family of 5. There was tons of space to spread out. I loved having the double sinks in the master bathroom. Everything was extremely clean. It was a short 10-15 minute drive to downtown and I loved being so close to the expressway. There was a bit of road noise at night (sirens, cars, etc) but was easily remedied by my white noise app. Bed were very comfortable. Overall, it was an extremely comfortable stay for our time in Nashville and we would stay there again!

Not as bad as other reviews have said
Overall the house was nice. White couch for a party spot would not be my choice so that had stains but they appeared to be cleaned. The walls had marks and skiffs but nothing out of ordinary for a Nashville rental. Beds and towels both clean so that was nice after reading other reviews. There was dead flowers on the table that made us laugh not sure why those were there but that’s not bad. Definitely not a neighborhood to be out and about at dark in. We stayed here bc we ran in the marathon and thought it would be nice to have a space to hang with family when exhausted for running and this home served that need. I do want to add and it sucks bc it has nothing to do with the home itself but the neighborhood that my whole family 6 adults were woken up by gun shots at 3:30 am. So that’s not fun and scary but now a days that could happen anywhere. Going into the weekend the other reviews scared us so we brought towels and bedding however we did not have to use our items as the house was in better condition then we thought it may be. General wear and tear of a party town.

Chic Urban Getaway Condo - Need TLC
Cleanliness was not the best at all! When we walked in the couch looked as if someone had played pillow fight outside with it. There were stains everywhere on it. I felt too icky to actually sit on it and relax. The master bed had comforter had spots and essentially was too small for the actual bed. The ironing board can barely stand to properly iron your clothes. This unit lacked care from the owner. It was clean from debris and dirt, just lacked the care of appearance to customers. It has great potential to be an awesome unit. I’ve definitely been in units more dedicated to cleanliness. It didn’t even have complimentary water or refreshments. 3 stars. Need TLC, great property beyond the lack of care.

Great place for a girls weekend
It was a great place to stay for what we had planned for our stay. Plenty of room for our gathering and the beds were so comfortable. I will definitely check to see if this property is available for my next trip to Nashville.

This home was not a very clean house or a good location at all. The home had dirty dishes , sewer issues in master bathroom…horrible Sewer odor comes up from the drain while showering. Kitchen could use more items to cook with,.
