Due to its convenient location to Vanderbilt University, this hotel charges 4-start prices for a 3-star experience. It is fine, but nothing to convince me to go again, unless of course I need a hotel in the area and this is what's available. By fine, I mean that the staff are nice and the rooms are decent. But the breakfast is like any Super 8 buffet, and I take offense to the Hyatt charging by the hour for checking in early. Build good will by letting your guests check in when the room is ready, especially when already charging so much per night!

It is a beautiful hotel and convenient location. Great breakfast, and enjoyed the entertainment Thursday evening. Maybe it was written down somewhere but I was surprised to have no cleaning service during our 3 days. I thought at least the trash would be checked and towels. We had only 1 roll of TP which ran out the last morning . Just wasn’t expecting that from such a hotel.

The property was decent. The $38 per day parking fee was ridiculous but that’s now Nashville. You can barely park anywhere without taking out a second mortgage. Several homeless individuals hung out at the fence line patio where we were taking a break and enjoying a drink. One was threatening and loud while the other asked for money of course. Then again, it’s near downtown Nashville so I’m not sure how that could be controlled.

Overall very nice

Very clean, nice room. We were only there for a very short time stopping just for the night. Our toilet wasn’t working when we got there, we did call for maintenance, but they never showed. Luckily my husband is handy and fixed it. Be prepared to pay for parking, there is extremely limited street parking.
