First off, I have never left a review but when denied refund and told this property had never received feedback about its cleanliness, I feel obligated. This property was dirty and not up to any cleanliness common standards. My husband and I checked in and immediately left and had to find a hotel to stay at. Upon arrival, we were told to use code to enter front door of the building but that doors handle and locking mechanism were broken and could just be opened as it remains unlocked.As we entered the elevator there was debris and trash wrappers on the ground. As we entered the actual apartment at first glance it seemed ok but as we made our way around it was not the case. Every wall in the entrance, living area, kittchen, bathroom and bedroom had marks and dirt. There were multiple hand prints and smears at entrance and most all door jams and doors were dirty. The bathroom baseboards were brown with dirt and hair. There was what appeared to be a brown spatter mark down closet door, as well as, what appeared to be a bloody fingerprint. The bedroom had a single sheet as the blanket and the sheet was not clean, had black specs all over and seemed used and wrinkled. The floors had debris throughout and also sticky when walking. I will say that the Host was very prompt in their responses and kind: but we were disappointed that when we asked for 50% refund(not even a full) it was denied. We were refunded a night. Didn’t want to spend our vacation trying to go back and forth
