Staff was very friendly. Hotel itself was well past its prime. Beds were hard. Curtains did not fit windows and did not filter outside lights at all. Room very dated and showed signs of disrepair. Numerous electrical outlets not functional. Location is poor. A mile walk to nearest restaurants. Closest bus stop a half mile away. Would not recommend.

I recently stayed at The Colony Club in the Bahamas and had a wonderful experience. The property is very spacious and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, and well-kept, making it easy to settle in right away. One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast, which was fresh, delicious, and offered a nice variety each morning. The amenities on-site were convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay — from the cozy lounge areas to the well-maintained outdoor spaces. Another major plus is the location. It’s walkable to downtown, which made exploring local shops, restaurants, and beaches super easy without needing a car. Overall, The Colony Club offers great value for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay in the Bahamas. Highly recommend!

I arrived at the property and it took awhile for someone to come to the front to check me in but being that it was around 9pm, I was optimistic. The front attendant was so very helpful and sweet with checking me in. The rooms were pretty subpar, you get what you pay for. The only complaint I had was that the breakfast could of been better. I was hoping for authentic Bahamian breakfast items. Also the room microwave cord did not reach to be plugged in and we had to put it on the ground to plug it in to warm up our food. I also seen a small bug problem that I hope they can get control of. This isn't a place of luxury so don't have high expectations

TV internet did not work. Notified to help desk. No action taken. The hotel looks so old and should remodel to look better. Swimming pool, the water is so cloudy, not clean. No one wants to swim

Upon check in room did not smell fresh , blinds where dirty behind the bed . Second room look better but had roaches. The walls are so thin I could hear a couple fight all night and the other two night another group of people doing the do all night I was disgusted. The only good thing about the stay was happy hour with Kenny and Miss Naomi at the front desk who did her best to assist.
