My stay was excellent: the service, the breakfast was delicious with many options of breads, cakes, fruits, etc. It was very impressive. The clean room was very good. I would like to register that the air conditioner in the fitness center was not working and the TV had signals issues.

Memorable stay

Downside was at check-in we were given a room of a lower category than booked. After checking with reception we were told that there was a technical problem with the room of the correct category allocated for and we could change the following day. Which was ok and we did so. A bit disappointing that only after asking for a partial refund of the first night (difference of room price) at the check-out we were granted a proportionate discount. This should have been proposed automatically and not only after asking…. Also be sure to put the ‘please make my room’ outside of the room as otherwise room will not be cleaned… after all sorted out we really enjoyed the room with frontal sea view and a hammock on the small balcony 😃

Hotel bom, mas precisa de muita coisa. O ponto alto é a simpatia dos funcionários e treinandos (todos), muito atenciosos e educados. Check-in muito demorado (mais de dez minutos no computador, apesar de toda a simpatia do atendente). Quarto cheirando a mofo, com paredes do box mofadas, porta úmida, paleta do ar condicionado quebrada (e com isso sempre na mesma direção) - vide fotos. Limpeza das áreas comuns deixa a desejar (lata de refrigerante ficou os três dias ao lado da passagem, poltrona de balanço rasgada. O café da manhã apesar da variedade de produtos, deixou a desejar: nenhuma chapa para aquecer, torradeira, micro ondas ou similar. Tudo frio. De nada adianta uma construção boa com falta de manutenção e de gestão de limpeza.

O hotel é excelente, semi-novo, quartos amplos e confortáveis, piscina muito boa, café da manhã completo, gostoso e em ambiente climatizado, sua localização é a uns 10km de ponta negra, mas de carro é bem rápido e sem transito, 10min de duração. Como sugestão ao hotel, poderia ter diárias com valores mais baixos para clientes frequentes, isso motivaria a sempre escolher o Barreira roxa em viagens a Natal.
