The room 110 was filthy. I wish I could post pictures. For this too be a move grab Everything had a thick layer of dust. The blanket on the bed was as thick as maybe 2 sheets. Tv didn't work. Had to call maintenance.

We have stayed here a few times now and really enjoyed it. The only problem we have run into is parking. There is only a very small lot right at the hotel, and it fills up fast. If you leave for dinner or anything, you will lose your spot. The over flow parking is down the road from the hotel, and it really stinks to have to walk all that way.

Management had no answer. No Management training.

Well right away we had issues with noisy neighbors, from what I’m understanding a college row team. I called to complain that the neighbors were going in and out the room constantly, and slamming the doors. The woman that said to me that I can ask them to keep it down. When she came down to our basement room, she said I don’t know what she can do about it. I asked can I be moved to a quieter floor or room, she acted liked that wouldn’t do anything to make me happy about the stay. Storms came in we lost power there was no one available to talk to about the power situation, I guess no back up emergency generators? Well I sleep with a Cpac severe sleep apnea I couldn’t sleep comfortably at first light we decided to pack up and leave. Our room was completely dark with no light coming in because the first floor was basically the basement. So during our packing we had to use the flashlight from our phone, anyway we left cell phone charger behind and several toiletries behind apparently, when I called the next morning they said nobody saw any items… No Customer Service and a rude so called Manager…. Worst Hotel stay experience ever….,

I don’t believe this is a Wyndham property.

The location of this hotel is great for an easy walk to the restaurants and shopping in this charming town. We stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed it, this time not so much. The rooms are spacious but the furniture and walls are showing a lot of wear and tear. I don’t think any maintenance had been done on this hotel since our last visit. Flat tires on the luggage carts, shower curtain rod barely hanging on, embedded mold in the bathtub caulk, hand rail almost ripped off the wall in the stairwell, lobby floor was dirty the entire stay. The staff we encountered were all very nice. This hotel has so much potential but management/owners need to step it up.

The employees were great. Our rooms were spacious & comfortable. But,our check in was supposed to be at 4pm. Our 2 rooms were not ready until after 6pm.( The delay was due to previous weather conditions. But, we weren’t told that.) The ice machine on 4th floor did not work the entire stay. We reported it. We were told to just come to the kitchen(which was on 2nd floor) to get ice for our 2rooms. This is not a cheap property. So, the toilet paper & amenities for the rooms should not be SUB-STANDARD. Which IS the case with our rooms. Upgrade the quality of your paper products for the bathrooms. We would stay here again. Just hope more communication is extended if complications occur.

Power outage issues.

We asked for sheets and a pillow for the pull out couch. It took over an hour for the staff to bring them up. Then a storm knocked out power and water too the hotel. While I understand some things are out of the control of the hotel management, no efforts were made to ensure our stay was safe and enjoyable. The stairways were dark and did not include emergency lights. One set of stairs was not standard height steps, which made them particularly precarious in the dark.

We were forced to leave a day early as they had no running water. Apparently the city of Natchitouches has serious infrastructure problems. The front desk didn’t seem to care when I called to ask about the water. No offer of bringing bottled water, but I could come down and buy it. She had to wait until her manager woke up to ask what the problem was and then the power went off- storm related. No urgency for their guest. Worst experience at any hotel we have stayed.
