First time staying at a B&B and The Sweet Cane Inn was the perfect place to start. The owners were very welcoming and made everyone feel right at home. Ms. Tiffany made a delicious breakfast every morning for the inn, she was so gracious and friendly, ensuring every guest started their day with a smile. The only complaint would be the height of the bed in the Azalea room, those under 5’2 may need to get a running start to hop up. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities for a lovely stay

Everything was horrible and we left a night earlier because when we pulled the comforter back there was poop on the sheet when we had to move to an attic room that the same air/heating system was shared by 2 other rooms. Black mildew on tub and thick dust on chairs. Coffee not available until 8:15 am and then non existing. I have a picture of the awful soiled sheets and the 2 other couples witnessed it.

Gorgeous property! A perfect 10. What staff? Never saw anyone until breakfast. No person to greet guests. Wasn't told that entry would be a key pad. I was to use my key. Had to call manager to be able to enter. No coffee bar until 7:00. Seriously?! Several guests, including myself, looking for coffee way before that!

We joined some friends in Natchitoches to spend several relaxing days in one of the south’s most charming cities. Everything was perfect! The house is absolutely beautiful - like a step back in time. We were fortunate enough to run into the owner on our first night and received a wonderful history of the home. The town was preparing for their annual Christmas season, and we took a horse-drawn coach around to see their seasonal lights and decorations. The accommodations were top-notch, and we really enjoyed our visit.

Very beautiful 100 year old home. She he owners were there finishing up Christmas decorations and they were friendly and very nice. The included breakfast smelt wonderful but we only had coffee. I 100% would stay with them again. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was delicious. Complimentary wine and cookies in the main hall every evening. Courteous and helpful staff. Only downside is the super soft mattress in the Oleander Suite. Otherwise, a great room with a claw footed slipper tub and separate shower. Will stay here again in a different room hoping for a firmer mattress.

Overnight on our road trip. Quaint period property. Very interesting architecture. Serviced 'remotely' - entry by pre-registration on line, door code in an envelop when you arrive. It all worked - but we missed the warmth of a real person to engage with, as international visitors.
