The motel problem is the location, near the freeway - you hear the cars and motorcycles all day and night. it's an issue if you use to sleep in a quite neighborhood, like me. the location is just a few minutes from the attractions

My room was very clean, and well taken care of, the property itself felt more safe, lights on all night, cameras all around the property. I could walk around by myself around the area any time of the day. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in town

Place was ok just for sleeping. The area is sketchy but for the price I think it’s ok. Mini fridge didn’t work as well. Didn’t keep our food frozen and the bathroom was not as clean but this isn’t a hotel It’s a motel. We brought our own bed sheets and comforter which made it a bit more comfortable to sleep on the end.

This area is National City not the most glamorous but it is close by to everything for a decent price. Parking is free and accommodations are nice, rooms are very nice and modern, and staff is very friendly. My only major complaint was TV was confusing to navigate and bathroom is small on top of small towels but the shower gives off hot water very well so it made-up for it. Overall, would stay again since it was pleasant.

Overall good stay with decent sized room with microwave and fridge. Due to kitchenette name in the room, I was expecting a stove and utensils none of which were there. We didn’t use swimming pool as used our room for only sleeping and were out all day sightseeing.

My room was very outdated and the blanket had a bunch of black long hairs on it. The toilet didn’t flush and only time I spoke to anyone in office was during check in & check out requesting a $100 hold for a prepaid room & telling me what cards are unacceptable is unbelievable. If I wasn’t in a bad position I definitely would’ve went somewhere else or slept in my car!

If you’re by yourself go for it. If looking for a cheap stay for family this is not it. Ladies working the corner. Dirty neighborhood. Hotel is on one of those back streets right off the freeway. Inside the room I could spot the dirty walls and stained bed sheets. Not where I would want to put my family.

When booking felt it may be safe being right across from the Navy base but, no. I would not recommend this place if you’re bringing children. There were hookers on the sidewalks. The property is not gated or protected in that manner. Middle of the night we woke to someone trying to get into our room through the door. A few minutes later the night manager called to let us know “you’re safe, a woman was trying to get into all the rooms but I scared her off.” No. No, that is not safe. I will never book here again.
