loved it

Such a pretty property. Check-in was easy, with excellent instructions. It’s nice to be a bit away from the bustle of the port, but everything is accessible. Loved having a supermarket nearby, and the fantastic beach bar for night time drinks.

We booked this hotel at the last minute when another hotel we had planned to stay in fell through. In hindsight, we are so glad it did. We were immediately made welcome and the family room was the best we stayed in over 5 hotels in our 2 week trip. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the super safe, child friendly St George’s beach and 15 minutes walk along the beach boardwalk from the town centre. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when we return to Naxos in the future.

We had a 1 day delay in arrival due to strong winds and "saiing ban" from Santorini, and missed out of one of our prepaid nights, which we looked at as "sunk cost". However, upon checkout the hotel granted us a full refund of the night we didn't stay there which was a very positive and nice gesture by Eirini Sorokou. Their hospitality at the hotel was remarkable! We would love to come back to Naxos beach and enjoy more of the whole of Naxos!

Firstly, despite its name this is not a beachfront hotel, it is situateda few minutes walk from the fabulous St Georges beach, some 20 minuteswalk from the town centre along the boardwalk. On arrival all looked great, the hotel islaid out in a lovely garden setting, very well maintained. We had booked and paid for an "elegant" room. We were aware that the hotel had no lift . We may be of a certain agebut have no problem with "normal" stairs but the access to our room (room 6) was via a long (about 30 steps to the top) steep, narrow (80 cm) staircase without handrails. This was mentioned to staff and we were quickly offered a lower room, still acessed by stairs but shorter and of a more normal width. The new room was a standard double, just like the first room it was clean and comfortable but had a very tiny shower/wc compartmentwhich could be difficult for a large person to access. Apart from the access problems the hotel was fine, breakfast was very good, the staff pleasant, knowledgable and helpfull. The pool was good with a cafe open afternoons with a limited menu of snacks and drinks, plenty of sunbeds but few umberellas. A refund for thedifference in cost of the rooms was requested, at first staff seemed hopeful but later said NO as it was our choice to move. As 2 star hotels go, apart from possible access problems, this one is good but neither the hotel website or Expedia mention access. Despite the above we we had a very pleasant stay and really enjoyed the island.

We had an amazing stay at Naxos Beach Hotel, what a hidden gem! The room was large and had an Aircon unit and fridge, and opened out onto the gardens with our own little patio set. The location of the hotel was perfect, a 10/15minute stroll along the beach boardwalk into town. The pool was gorgeous, with lots of sunbeds and a bar that opens late morning selling alcohol, soft drinks, and water. But the best bit has to be the free breakfast - this was a surprise to us as hotels.com says it was an additional cost, but we arrived to find it free to all hotel guests! It was a very large spread with lots of variety - fruit, granola, greek yoghurt, cheese, meats, homemade cakes (including a chocolate fudge cake one day!) with fresh coffee and juices. The only negative part was our bathroom which was small, especially the shower. But for a few nights stay, overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Fine dager i Naxos

Vi ble veldig godt tatt i mot med mye informasjon om hotellet og Naxos by. Fine og rene rom. Litt gammel standard, men helt ok for solferie.
