We loved staying at the Villa of Roses! Very comfortable, fully equipped house with a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a beautiful patio. Very clean, all the comforts of home. Wi-fi and AC worked fine. The host takes excellent care of the guests. Fantastic daily cleaning and new towels daily. We even got towels to use at the beach. Although the house is up in the hills in a very rural area the town is just a 5 minute drive away and the port and old town are max 10 mins away. An excellent choice!

A very pleasant classic Greek villa up on a hill

This is a great place to stay in in Naxos. The owners have done an excellent job of designing and decorating the "villa" (the entire ground floor of a large house on a hill). The owners are extremely nice and friendly but they may not be there all the time. The property is very well maintained and very comfortable in every respect. It even has excellent wi-fi and internet connection. The only disadvantage of this property is its location. It's isolated up on a hill and stands a couple of kilometers from the center of Naxos town and the sea. Since it's up on a hill, a car is a must for anyone who's not very young and who wants to bring groceries from supermarkets and bakeries in town. A car is advisable anyway because Naxos is a large island and the good beaches are many kilometers away. Otherwise, this is a great place for a long stay for a couple or a family of three or four.
