North Frisia - holiday in Nolde's picturesque landscape, at the Wadden Sea National Park World Heritage Site. Green dykes, salty air, sky-blue cotton wool clouds

Sleep comfortably and romantically in a typical Frisian house under thatch, situated on a large mound. The house is situated in an absolutely quiet and idyllic location surrounded by a large, park-like garden with an unobstructed view of fields and meadows - very close to the Danish border. The spacious, light-flooded rooms are located on the top floor of the house and have recently been completely refurnished with many loving details in the Frisian-maritime country house style and additionally laid out with laminate flooring in plank character. The spacious living room - with open kitchen - offers a unique view of the open countryside and the garden with its large panoramic window. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired. In the spacious bedroom, from which you can watch wonderful sunrises, there is a large double bed and a closet. A cosy baby travel cot is available for the very little pirates. A stair gate is also available for safety. Next to the bedroom is a small walk-in closet for additional storage options, such as clothes or suitcases. The bathroom is equipped with a double washbasin, bidet, bathtub and shower/WC. From the living room you can access the 8 m long covered balcony, which offers a fantastic view and is a great place to relax and unwind. The car park is right next to the house on the fenced property. If you value absolute peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you.

Of course, Wau wau can also come along. Bowls, toys, a cosy cuddly cushion, treats and lots of cuddles round off his personal holiday happiness.

The landscape of the Wiedingharde is impressive and varied. Once upon a time it was an island and Halligen landscape whose inhabitants wrested it from the North Sea for centuries. Here the view widens, the air is clear and soothing for your respiratory tract and you can rest your soul - ideal holiday conditions for exploring fields and meadows on foot or by bike, and for exploring the Köge - with their endless nature reserves. Ornithological enthusiasts will be thrilled by the wealth of species there. In spring and fall, you can watch the "black sun" as the starlings dance in the reed beds every evening before migrating to their night roosts. The hundreds of thousands of birds settling and rising from the reeds and the formations they take are so impressive and resemble a natural wonder. Lovers of painting enjoy visiting the museum with studio house and the magnificent garden of the famous painter Emil Nolde in Seebüll. At the same time, Wiedingharde is a popular starting point for excursions to neighbouring "hyggelige" Denmark, just 4 km away - or for "island hopping" to the islands of Sylt, Föhr, Amrum and the Halligen. Many events such as the "Husumer Hafentage", the "Flensburger Aalregatta" and - "Dampf Rundum" or a canal cruise in picturesque Friedrichstadt round off the programme for a relaxing holiday. North Friesland also has a lot to offer in culinary terms.
