A joyful and immaculate home for a getaway to a beautiful historic town. The home overlooks downtown and is walkjng distance to shops and great restaurants. Check-in was simple and the host was gracious and the home was excellent, clean, convenient and beautiful. We'll be back.

Perfect location, very cute and cozy, very clean. Everything you need but a ground coffee maker. There is a Keurig with some pods but if you prefer fresh coffee, bring a Keurig 1.0 pod for your ground. Several coffee shops around the corner but, if you're like me, they're not open at 5 am....they open at 7. We will most definitely stay here again!

This getaway was an anniversary trip for my husband and I and this sweet and cozy place was perfect. It was nestled in between a couple of businesses right in the heart of downtown and could not have been any better. There was no commotion or inconvenience from the businesses and we felt very safe and private at all times. Everything was immaculate, nicely decorated and very clean. Check in was a breeze and the only problem we had was confusion (on our part) over where to park, however, after messaging Mike and quickly receiving his reply, we were parked and on our way inside. We had everything we could possibly need in every room, especially the cozy kitchen because it was well stocked (even though we never cooked...there were too many wonderful places to eat within walking distance.) There is a lot of rich history in downtown and many places to learn of that history and they are within walking distance of this little gem. One of the days we were there we never got in our car to go any where; our two feet took us everywhere we wanted to go and even took us places we didn't even know about. One late afternoon after coming back from a little road trip and an early dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching people walk by, drive by and even watching a squirrel in the tree about six feet away just hanging out. You will not be disappointed staying in this precious place for any reason.

My wife and I had a very relaxing and wonderful stay. One couldn’t ask for a better host than Mike. The communication with him was spot on. The property was ideal for anyone wanting shops and restaurants less than a block away. We will definitely stay there during our next visit to New Bern!

Exceptional location! The Budweiser Clydesdales paraded right in front of our balcony. We didn’t need to drive anywhere once we parked (free) steps from the door of the apartment. Highly recommend!
