Read the fine print!!! Although the price was lower than most, once the pet rent was applied it nearly doubled. The walls are paper thin so we could actually hear the neighbors conversation and the lady next door had 4 cats who kept coming over which the dogs didn’t love. When you tried to sit on the back patio the dogs upstairs would bark non stop. I have photos of how dusty the place was upon arrival and wanted to let the management company know about the dirty patio and dust everywhere but she got very defensive. Every time we got a email or text it was here a fee there a fee. A lady from the management company in her own words said “We apologize you are unsatisfied. This is not a high end property and is priced accordingly.” The good things about it were, the bed was comfortable, not the pillows though. They had all the pot and pans and dishes you need. They Supply a ton of towels for the stay.Would not ever stay here again.

Pros: rental agency was easy to deal with and check in was convenient. The condo was pretty centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Nice view and complex was very quiet. Pool was clean and condo is dog friendly. Cons: THE BED WAS AWEFUL. The frame was wobbly and squeaked with every small movement and the mattress might have been the worst I have ever slept on. We could barely get out of bed after the 1st night. I had to sleep on the cot and my husband on the couch. The AC seemed to struggle during the day although it did cool down at night. If the bed was replaced I would definitely recommend it

Overall the property needs some TLC. Furniture was old and needed cleaned, Patio furniture was dirty and local stray cats were everywhere, Gated parking was a plus.On the day of arrival we were notified that we could not have outside guests. This was a surprise as the reason for the trip and VRBO was for a graduation and seeing family. Further, the pool was busy with Condo Residence and their guest, so that was off limits as well. We have used VRBO before and have not had restrictions like these. Also, if we would have know that we couldn’t have guests visit we would not have booked. Very disappointing.

Good for what it was

We only needed the space to sleep. And it was fine for that. The apartment is very basic, and a little rundown. Also, it is tiny. The river isn’t accessible unless you walk down a steep incline and there is one small area where you can get in, but the banks are very overgrown and not conducive to Spending time there. There was peeling paint, and the soap holder was ripped off of the shower wall, so if you are expecting something nice, this is not your place. However, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, and the property did exactly what we booked it to do, gave us a comfortable place to sleep in a good location.

Bugs, smoke smell, and fleas made this stay unsatisfactory. I realize the property has full time tenants next door that may contribute to these factors. We would choose a no pet, single property, with no adjoining neighbors next time.

New braunfels

It definitely wasn’t what I expected. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and has caused me neck and shoulder pain I haven’t ever had . The bedroom window lacked black out curtains that did not allow for naps or even sleep in time. The microwave and dishwasher did not work. There is also no laundry service on site at all. We applied extra blankets to the mattress to pad it … very little help in comfort. The family that lives above this condo has inside animals that bark and run around upstairs all day and night. I can’t recommend this condo to anyone. . I wish I could get a complete refund. 2 nights was over 550$.

The location to everything New Braunfels was the best thing about this condo. The bed was terrible. Very uncomfortable without considering the huge lump in the middle of the mattress. I have nothing against cats, but they are everywhere around the apartment…on the back porch, around the front door looking for food and around the parked cars. It is pet friendly, but the back yard area is tiny and it’s obvious that no one is picking up there messes. It was impossible to walk our dog in the area behind the condo!! Bathroom faucet needs to be fixed since the water flow cannot be regulated without splashing water everywhere! The bathtub had hair left on the drain and wasn’t as clean as it could have been. The drawer under the oven was covered in per hair. (Once again, I realize it’s per friendly, but was definitely not cleaned properly) The walls and doors need a good wipe down…there was something smeared on several of the doors and spots on the walls. We stayed on a holiday weekend and would not have called anyone to have someone clean since it is more than a quick cleaning service issue.

Girls trip fun

The place is a little older but so close to all the fun of downtown New Braunfels & nestled into a cut little neighborhood. The peaceful view of the river & wildlife was really lovely. I would stay here again, and have a few minor issues I will discuss with management, but it was really great for our little 3 friends weekend getaway.

Cluttered not clean

Stains all over doors, walls & switches. Bedding and pillows need to be replaced. Everything in kitchen cabinets needs to be cleaned and organized. Extra flowers, candles, pictures, chairs all stored in living area. The picture shows to be a gated community and it was not.
