Watch sunsets from the deck or private beach. There is a mooring for boaters available and dock to swim to or park jet ski at. The Thimble Islands are a quick boat ride, kayak or paddle board away. The house is 75 miles from New York City, 2 miles from the center of Branford and 10 miles from New Haven. Take in beautiful sunsets, walk on the beach or fish off the rocks. We stayed here for an anniversary weekend away and found the property and neighborhood to be amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and firepit and went kayaking in the afternoon. Enjoyed amazing sunsets from the deck; Adam gave us spot-on restaurant recommendations. I don't know if the supply of snacks is standard or an anniversary "special", but all in all this place was a wonderful find. Thank you!!

Relaxing Fall Getaway on Beautiful Linden Point

Our stay was incredible! The property was gorgeous- even with the home owners on property we barely saw them. We had full, private access to the backyard space- beach, pool, hot tub, fire pit, etc- all to ourselves. The property was clean and inviting and we will definitely go back. Everyone was so friendly and the area is picturesque.

An Awesome Getaway

This studio style rental was immaculate and stocked will all kinds of goodies. Our hosts were quite gracious making us feel welcome on their property. Branford is a gem in itself with beautiful coastline, great food, hiking nearby and the Thimble Island cruise opportunity. We will definitely go back!

Amazing Dog Friendly Anniversary Stay

Stayed for our anniversary as we wanted a spot we could enjoy with our pug, this was the perfect choice. Itā€™s rare to feel you are enjoying your surroundings even when in the comforts of air conditioning but that was the case here with panoramic views of the beach, cove and yard. The space had everything we need plus cute touches which made it feel like a vacation home. Our hosts even included a multitude of snacks/drinks which meant we didnā€™t need to search for coffee/breakfast each morning plus enjoyed celebratory snacks, drinks and smores! The highlight for us was the neighborhood saltwater swimming area which included a diving board beach which felt completely unique. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to enjoy (including some of the best pizza in the world in New Haven), though we minimized how much we left as didnā€™t want to miss much time enjoying all the property and neighborhood had to offer. The heated saltwater pool, hot tub, yard games and firepits kept us from ever feeling bored, plus having the option to kayak and paddleboard meant that we didnā€™t even get to everything we wanted to do when visiting for our 4 nights. Adam showed us around the property upon check in and made us feel like we could make ourselves at home. Watch out for bugs when outside in evening, torches provided and bring bug spray. We have stayed in many waterfront property rentals throughout New England and this one has quickly moved to the top of our list and one we plan to return to again!

Relaxing long weekend!

Was looking for a coastal retreat to enjoy a couple days with my daughter who lives near this location. This property had everything from a super clean, cozy studio with fridge and counters filled with surprising treats, incredible hot tub with lights in the trees, pool to cool off and little private beach to launch a paddlleboard and kayak, or hang out at night with a burn pit. If you are just a beach person and want toes in the sand and to swim in the ocean, this area is not for you. Otherwise...it is perfect for 2 people.

Fantastic Stay!

I stayed at this amazing studio cottage with my girlfriend for 2 nights for her birthday. Our hosts, Liz and Adam were simply amazing. They allowed us an early check in and a late check out. Liz even brought out bicycles for us to use to tour around the neighborhood and ride along the shore line. Because it was my girlfriends birthday (or maybe they just do this), they had Prosecco and Orange Juice plus beer and cheese and other snacks for us when we arrived. The cottage is adorable, perfect size and location facing the water. We had free use of all of the amenities (firepit (wood and gas), pool, hot tub, paddle boards, etc.) but because it was late Oct and a bit chilly we only used the wood firepit and made smores with the chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers they left for us! There are lots of great restaurants and breweries in the area, so there was never a dull moment. I can't say enough about what an amazing place this is and how special our hosts were. We will be back!!!

Just gorgeous

Adam and Liz's waterfront studio is spectacular and they were perfect hosts. We hit a whammy with the weather and it basically never stopped raining during our stay, but the comfy recliners and panoramic view of the bay definitely allowed us to make the best of staying in. The studio itself is well equipped and we appreciated the numerous goodies Adam and Liz left for us. The only strike against the studio is the Murphy bed; we had to MacGyver things to use as nightstands, and its design meant an obstructed view of the TV from the bed (though we greatly appreciated that the TV was set up for streaming, something not yet true everywhere). Otherwise, everything is amazing. The property and all of its outdoor space really is spectacular, and the kayaking and swimming look like they would be phenomenal here, so we would definitely recommend coming in peak summer, when you can take full advantage of the long days and relatively lower chance of coastal storms. Branford, CT is beautiful; we were actually looking for a place to stay on the North Fork of Long Island (the other side of the Sound!) and Adam and Liz's studio somehow came up in the search results. It was a happy glitch; we'd definitely consider staying here again.

Delightful in every way!

Our stay here was well worth the 8 hour drive. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. They provided all sorts of goodies upon our arrival. We immediately felt welcomed and our stay was very comfortable. The views and sunsets were some of our favorites! Thank you again for making our stay fun and truly enjoyable! We do want to come back!
