Cute, old-timey styled room with a nice bathroom. Nice staff. Close to everything. Loved the electric tea pot and the convenient plugs in the nightstand. However, the room was on the small side, and you could feel the cold air coming through the window even with the shades down. I would not recommend staying here on a Friday or Saturday night, though. I was on the second floor and I was kept up until well past 2:00 am due to a group of loud students hanging out on the sidewalk for several hours…in 20 degree weather!

I always like staying at Graduate hotels as they are cozy, thoughtfully designed and have a nice little on-site coffee shop. This one was historic, which gave it more character, and was right in the heart of New Haven. The staff were great but they weren’t always around at the front desk when I needed them. The wifi went out for a bit but they fixed it. The parking situation (at a nearby garage) wasn’t clear but I figured it out.
