The day I arrived the lock on my hotel door was broken. The manager fixed it right another room, that smell like urine. I was given another role. It seemed to be all right. The valet had a dent in my door rental car and they also brought my car to me with a crack in the windshield. It is still under investigation. My state wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Ken was a great manager and the ladies that assist him there were quite all right themselves.

Deceiving from photos

Very deceiving hotel. When we arrived, we were unable to open the blinds because they were power operated and the button didn’t work. They were unable to fix it nor move us because they said we selected a handicap room. Which wasn’t true, & never on my reservation. But said they were booked so we couldn’t switch. The shower curtain had a disgusting huge stain which if housekeeping didn’t see it, then they’re not cleaning thoroughly. No way you could miss it. Hallways on my floor had an old muggy smell. They did immediately discard the old shower curtain and replaced with new.

We love Aloft New Orleans

I loved my stay at Aloft New Orleans! The lobby is beautiful, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, it’s never promised but we asked if we could check in early and we were able too. The rooms are decorated very nicely. They are also spacious, beds are comfy too. The location of the hotel was perfect. 5/10 minutes from everything we wanted to do. We stayed 4 nights and we will be back!

Clean, decent value, but room had some issues (DIRTY shower curtain, bathroom door worked poorly, low water pressure in sink, AC rattled, lights not fully in working order). A little bit more worn, esp in hallways, than I'm accustomed to with Aloft. Staff was great though (esp desk, valets), check in was fast. Solid location for Saenger Theatre.
