Beautiful property but not functional. No hot water. No microwave. Drawers were dirty and had cobwebs like they have not be cleaned in months. Great location for history of New Orleans. They need Do not disturb signs for the rooms.

My room's heater was broken while it was in the 40 degrees this past week. I was frozen. I cashed the front desk and asked to get this addressed. They kept saying someone will fix it. I had to sleep with socks, gloves, and multiple blankets. On the phone, they talked to me like I was "crazy" for even asking. After the 3rd day of complaining, it took someone 5 minutes to fix. 5 minutes!!!

Convenient location, very easy to walk to places in the French Quarter. Room and facilities are clean and well maintained. Beds are too soft for my preference but some may like that. Loud music late at night coming from outside every night prevented a good sleep, but late night partiers may not mind. This property was listed as VIP Access, but the front desk didn't know anything about special perks they are supposed to give out to OneKey Silver/Gold/Plat members.

The safety of the hotel is always important to us. Hotel Orleans is extremely safety conscience. All of the staff from the front desk staff to the bellmen to the valets and the housekeepers are so extremely friendly and helpful. Our favorite bellman is David. He goes above and beyond to help you get settled in or check out.

Total tourist trap, will get you with the name. This place is a total scam, the standard room is dark and dungeon-like with very low ceilings, if you don’t like enclosed spaces do not choose that room. The “deluxe” room looks like a regular hotel room but it is $30 more a night to upgrade. The service is horrendous, front desk people are rude and will hang up on you when you have a question about something they know they’re scamming you on. When they charged me for incidentals instead of it being a hold it went through and got charged to my credit card. I had to call and spend 30 minutes on the phone and be transferred to two different people in order for it to be resolved and I hope my refund will appear in a few days without having to call back. I was charged one destination fee for part of my stay and a different fee for the second part of my stay which I booked later when I decided to extend my trip by a couple of nights. Apparently the destination fee increased right before I extended my stay, which again, sounds like a total scam to me. Destination fee includes water, wifi, and coffee. Those are things that most hotels don’t charge for, so there’s another upcharge. Hotel lobby is beautiful, rooms are small and outdated hallways are old. Overall spend the extra money on a reliable and all around beautiful property that isn’t try to get your money every way they can.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, room was clean. The balcony view was amazing.. the food was not good at all, tasted like it was heated up in a microwave. With one exception the beignet with strawberries were delicious and we had it twice while we stayed there..

Great place. Decorated beautifully at Christmas. Great location but I would avoid the 1st floor as it can be noisy if street side. The Bar O was fantastic

The room was in poor shape, for example outlets that did not work in Plumbing that did not work and was not ready when we opened the door and walked in. Also, the staff was not accommodating. Would not go back would not recommend.
