Convenient and Comfortable

This is our second time at this location. It is an older, affordable, but comfortable place to sleep for the night if you have an early flight. It is 5 minutes from the airport and convenient to many dining locations. Its not the kind of place you stay at for a vacation, but its perfect for a one night stay.

Front desk staff were nice, Michael from maintenance was awesome! Wanted to heat water for tea using the coffee pot. It was dirty and left brown chunks in my cup. The A/C blew heat when it wasn't blowing cold air. So bizarre. I requested that housekeeping leave more coffee supplies and take out trash while I was out for the day. That didn't happen. Carpet is old and filthy. Beds were clean, just a little too soft for me. The hotel is close to the airport so that's convenient. It's probably alright for one night if you have an early flight the next day, but I won't stay there again.

Walked in the lobby to check in and the gentleman at the desk was speaking with another employee about female standing 10 feet away. Speaking for about 3 to 5 minutes while they continued talking back and forth as we stood there, with no acknowledgment of my wife and I, even though we were easily seen. Then, he goes to his computer, makes no eye contact, no hello, and says “Drivers License”… well we certainly felt I acknowledged and that set the tone for our stay. Also, later I called the front desk and said the tv doesn’t seem to work… the same guy said, “I gave you the instructions on the paper I gave you…. It only works on channels 6 and up”. Yes, I checked and he did give me a paper but was never told what the paper was for originally. Last, the ceiling in the room has peeling paint hanging down… does not give a feeling of cleanliness or health

An ok stay for what it was

Hotel offers airport shuttle, but does not specify that shuttle only runs from 7AM to 11PM, not good if you have a late arriving flight, or an early departure. This hotel does offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal, which was not advertised, but would have been good to know. Hotel seemed a little dated. It smelled musty and/or moldy in the hallways, but not so much in the room itself. Temperature controls in the room did not seem to work. They switched our room to a different room when the first one wouldn't cool down, but the second one wouldn't warm up.

In the end the room was nice and very convenient for a 5:30am flight since very close to the rental car return; however, needed 2 rooms because first one (1101) is literally in the main hall, so it got very loud and AC and water for bathtub didn't work. Moved us to 2nd floor without issue. The other general issues. The entrances to parking lot are not will lit/signed and too easy to miss. The lounge was only open until 10pm (not noted) and the Pool/Hot tub was closed (seasonal but also not mentioned anywhere). Lounge and hot tub were 2 of the 3 reasons for picking (convenient to airport/free parking) was the other.

One night stay whilst visiting the city - unfortunately had an accident in room and required stitches... Staff extremely helpful - unfortunately incurred a room clean-up fee (not an issue), but when I checked my invoice re this I discovered that not only had the hotel charged me for the room (already paid through Hotels.com) but also double charged me for the room cleaning fee.. Furthermore, there were three pending charges on my debit card, for what I don'tknow (on hold with my bank). I have tried emailing the hotel three times re this and no reply or acknowledgement... I have also disputed the double charges (incl room fee) with my bank and awaiting a resolution to all... (this amount was taken from my bank).
