Classic New Orleans Victorian Charmer

Take an authentic step back in time and spend a few nights in our classic 1870s New Orleans Victorian-era home featuring 12-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and original cypress fireplace mantels. Lovingly updated with the latest modern amenities, the home has central air and heat, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, a custom bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, and a laundry room. We think it’s the perfect balance of historic charm and modern comfort.

Our Victorian-era “shotgun-style” double allows you all the privacy of your own place because the home is split down the middle with you on one side and us living on the other. The front two rooms are bathed in natural light from the large windows, where the ceilings are adorned with giant decorative medallions, and relax with our 56-inch TV or surf the internet with our high-speed Wi-Fi.
Past the dining room, where a signed print by renowned Louisiana artist George Rodrigue hangs, is a full kitchen where you can enjoy a cup of rich New Orleans coffee in the warmth of the morning sunshine beaming through the large window that overlooks the seating area. The kitchen has basic cookware, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, cups, bowls, a toaster, and a coffee maker. Coffee, tea, creamer, and sweeteners are provided.
This house has a a "shotgun-style" layout. The first bedroom past the kitchen has a brand-new queen bed, ceiling fan, closet, dresser, and full-length mirror.
The bathroom in the hallway connects the bedrooms and boasts a custom tile shower with a rainfall shower, handheld shower spray, and a marble bench seat. We supply fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer.
The second bedroom has a brand-new queen bed, ceiling fan, clothes rack, and a lovely view of the neighboring garden. The back door leads to the small brick patio.
A fully stocked laundry room with a washer and dryer is available in the back of the home.
We want you to relax and enjoy your stay, so we do all the cleaning so no chores are required of our guests upon checkout.
Parking is on the street and is often plentiful. It is free.

Wonderful home in lower garden district

Love this house! It’s a great block close to amazing food and coffee, as well as one of my favorite dive bars. Host was very responsive to questions I had after checking in. The home is comfortable, clean, and full of history. I’d definitely stay next time I visit NOLA!

A home away from home

Everything we needed was supplied by this lovely home in a convenient location just a few blocks from the trolley and within walking distance to dining and coffee shops. The host is responsive and communication went well. The street is very busy but the bedrooms are located in the back so sleeping is peaceful on very comfortable beds. Thank you, Robert, for the dining recommendations, especially Cochon Cochon, Butcher which was our favorite!

Great space, clean, comfy, close to restaurants!

My coworker friend and I needed a place to stay that was somewhat near a conference. We had decided to go last min and were worried we wouldn’t find a nice place. We chose this due to proximity and price. First, it was very affordable! Second, we were absolutely shocked by how adorable it was. Even cuter than photos. It was extremely clean and they had everything there and ready for your stay such as coffee pods and creamer, they even had shampoo, body wash and conditioner. There is a washer and dryer available to use. There is a sweet front porch and a nice little back courtyard. It was only a few feet away from French Truck coffee where they remembered our orders every morning and the coffee is amazing. There are numerous restaurants within a half mile radius. I wish more people would talk about bed comfort in reviews. I need a soft bed for my old bones. These beds were a medium firm but I slept very well and comfortably. The owners are friendly and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend this rental. Only thing you should pay attention to in listing is that you walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom and then to the next bedroom. This was fine for my friend and I because we have similar schedules. Also, the bathroom door has a lovely clear film but it doesn’t offer tons of privacy if you need that. However, bedroom doors can be closed on either side making privacy pretty easy to manage. We absolutely loved our stay and I would book this again any time!

NOLA Gem

This property was absolutely spotless and in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. It had up-to-date furnishings and appliances, complimentary coffee, creamer, and tea, comfortable beds, and a great host who was quick to respond, accommodating, and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here and will be re-renting when I return to New Orleans.

Couldn’t Ask For More!

First off the property was just as pictured, beautiful. The location was great for us, easy access to the Streetcar which took us down to the French Quarter several times. The weather was so beautiful we actually ended up walking down there a couple of times, about 1.5 miles. The French Coffee Truck just a few doors down was a nice treat every morning. Several restaurant options just a few feet away, so staying in definitely would not be a problem! If we make it back to NOLA, I hope to stay here again!

This house is PERFECT. I had a conference at the convention center (quick 10 min walk) and otherwise had easy access to all of the neighborhoods I wanted to visit, the street care, 2 museums, the quarter, all of magazine street. the house is SO charming, kitchen really well stocked. Cant say enough. I'd be delighted to come back!

Perfect home & location for New Orleans visit

Our family was in town for our daughters' volleyball tournament at the convention center. This was a great location for walking to and from the tournaments, as well as for popular sites around NOLA! The owners were very helpful with advice, answering questions, and accommodating our need to store luggage prior to arrival time and after departure time to better fit our flight schedule. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay during Super Bowl. The price and location was EXCELLENT. The location is convenient to a lot of restaurants and nightlife. The home was as pictured. It was very clean and well stocked. The shower was amazing. They had the best shower head and warm water. The beds were comfortable and clean. The place was just as pictured on the photos. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly. The only con is parking. There is no dedicated parking for this home. There is ample street parking, however if you want to park close to the home you have to be strategic with your coming and going. Overall great stay!
