Good hotel close to everything. Beds really comfy..Aircon works well...little free breakfast is perfect if you want a small basic bite which is all we are after. Our room was right beside the cleaners room so was noisy for about 2 hours or so in the morning..that's the only downside..otherwise great. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect location, a little tired, wonderful staff

The hotel is one street off Bourbon Street. You couldn't get a better location. The staff, every single staff member we encountered, were fantastic! Friendly, polite, helpful - really made our stay extra special. Yes, the hotel is tired (carpets, mattresses etc) but it is clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is cleaning or replacing the bed skirting fabric as this looked a bit stained and grubby. The pool was great, we swam almost every day. The bar is undergoing renovations so there's a small one set up near the pool for drinks and breakfast. Breakfast is bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. Make sure you go to Cafe Du Monde - don't waste your time elsewhere they have the best beignets. We had a room overlooking the street with a balcony, which we sat on every night to watch the world go by. Being located off Bourbon it is a little noisey, bring ear plugs and you'll be fine. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back if we're ever in New Orleans again.

Dark stuffy room

The rooms are so dark you can’t find anything. They have nailed the doors to the outside shut so you can’t get any air. Breakfast is a joke. Crowded little room with basically, bagels, bagels and more bagels. 1 toaster that takes way too long to toast so everyone is standing around bumping into each other while waiting for their bagels! Parking cost a fortune. Wouldn’t stay there again.
