I loved that the hotel was very nice and clean with the necessary amenities. It is in a great location for walking to attractions in New Orleans. I did not like that undisclosed fees were charged which is impactful when budgeting for vacation. In addition the front desk staff could not give tourist information when asked, as they were unaware of popular attractions and transportation options. The front desk clerk blamed this discrepancy on me booking through a 3rd party as if it were my fault for seeking a discount that essentially I did not get because of the daily destination fee that equated to a regular daily rate. Very disappointed at the false advertisement that "The price you see is the price you pay." Lastly, I was very upset that upon returning to my room it had been cleaned (great!) but my NOLA souvenir cups had been thrown out and there was no ownership being taken by the housekeeping staff. Personal property should not be thrown out by housekeeping staff when cleaning the room. My cups were a keepsake that I no longer have as a memory for my trip to New Orleans. This alone will cause me to never return to this property and possibly not another IHG property due to this lack of customer care.

Was told incorrect information when calling the hotel prior to arriving from Texas. I was told that parking is included in the hotel stay (we paid in full when booking the room) we spent $500 in total for parking, the person I spoke to at the hotel via phone was very rude and acted like she didn’t know what was going on, all the parking staff were more rude than that and the check in lady and check out lady (both different) were rude, still have not gotten my deposit back, as well as when booking it clearly stated paid in full, no additional charges which was incorrect as we had to pay the deposit and some tourist fee crap, again no communication from the hotel on status of refund. Would NEVER stay at this hotel again, and as my family travels a lot for work will not recommend this hotel. Also, first night ordered room service and it was put by the staff on the tip of the drawers by the tv, immediately 2 roaches came out. Mentioned that to the front desk and nothing was done about it. Bathrooms in lobby smelled so bad. Never would’ve expected a nice hotel to look or smell that bad. Pool closes at 10 when city is booming way later than that. Breakfast was great. Paid around 30 to add it to my stay then they force gratuity on you when you eat. (11.98)

Property was great but I booked through Expedia and it told me the price a saw was the price I had to pay however, that was not the case. Ended up having to pay way more than what was shown!
