Thinking this was a four star hotel I was disappointed it wasn’t. Three at best. Comfortable clean bed and a friendly staff. Bathroom wasn’t the beat. Valet service was always very slow. Great location.

Very close to the French quarter. Easy walk to all the major sights. Gym has free weights and two adjustable benches, smith machine, weight machines, and cardio equipment. Housekeeping staff were excellent. Concierge helped with booking tour tickets, which was awesome. Pool was closed in January. Pro tip: Get the BBQ shrimp at Mr. B’s Bistro! It’s incredible!

Stayed for New Year’s Eve weekend. For a four star property, I felt that the room needed a remodel. Everything appeared to be old and worn. The service was pleasant and helpful and restaurant food was fantastic! Bar needs a facelift and more space.

As two young female travelers, safety is our #1 priority. The InterContinental is located in a part of town surrounded by other high-rise hotels and feels significantly safer (and classier) than the neighborhoods surrounding it. There was construction but we were not bothered by the noise. Easily walkable to French Quarter while being far away from the chaos. Perfect location, loved our stay, excellent friendly staff. P.S. Breakfast buffet (additional charge) is delicious!

The St Charles streetcar picks you up across the street and takes you to the Garden District. It is within walking distance to the French quarter and Riverwalk. Excellent stay with friendly staff.
