An updated room, 2230, is very clean, nice, and has a nice view. Every night, six floodlights from the outside ground level came on, and the lights shined brightly through the window. Nice area-pool (heat pump not working) area and jacuzzi (leg jets) had extremely hot water shoot out at intervals. Casino-smoke smell was tolerable and sometimes I didn't notice it. Bar restaurant that sold wings- I couldn't even stand at the counter to order because of the smoke smell (barely anyone there) I had a coughing fit to where tears came from my eyes. I had to order from my room. I would definitely stay there again and again.

Staff were super welcoming, very clean and walking distance to canal and bourbon st and public transportation. Great places to eat nearby. Love the banksy art room. Coffee available in the mornings. Was able to check in early. Loved my stay.

Disappointed in the bar being out of stock and limited in options. Did not receive ' room upgrade ' to our knowledge and room map appeared to show all rooms similar size. Rooms were not spacious.
