The room had 6 items wrong with it starting with the bathroom and the bedroom being off center 60 degrees making it easy to smash your leg into it. The faucet leaked in the tub the paint was falling off. The staff where oblivious to people’s time and the language they used to the clients was so relaxed I almost thought they weren’t getting paid….. the manger looked like he had forgotten where he was or what role he plays. Just a real unprofessional and disgrace to the La Quinta franchise. This was our first time staying at one. We have been traveling the states for a month and a half now using many inns and hotels and they have been amazing Comfort inn , Orangewood inn , Ramada and many others, but this La Quinta was the worst one yet. I’ll definitely won’t be going to any more La Quinta Inns in the future. It was unfortunate also that after mentioning the issues to the staff I asked if they could change my towels due to the bath leaking all over the floor when we had our first shower. We left for 6 hours to enjoy the city, and came back to the room untouched and dirty towels still on the floor. I had to go down my self to front desk and ask them for new towels. The kid was on his cell on instagram.. and proceeded to say “oh yea I completely forgot my bad bro” It was a complete joke to be there and I am very calm and professional person. I could only imagine what people would say if they had an attitude issue. Stay away ! Waste of money and time. Highly not recommended!

Top to bottom smeels like a moldy foot. Staff was great, room was bearly clean, lifted the sheets to check for bugs and found one of the most horrendously stainned yellowy organge mattress ive ever seen. I slept on top of the blankets because that felt saffest, we stayed in the room for only 14hours and I dont recommend anyone to stay longer than that. Tear the whole thing down.

Not the best hotel but it served the need of sleep

I think with some major upgrades, the place would be nice. It was very late when we arrived but usually you see some kind of light outside. The signs for the hotel weren’t lit up - it looked very doom and gloom..not very inviting. The employee behind the front desk that checked us in was extremely nice so that was a plus. Our room had a weird smell to it, kind of like the smell of Fritos/cornchips. The bathtub was very run down, you could tell it was on the older side. Rust stains on the walls and in and around the drain. We only stayed briefly since we were catching an early flight. I was thankful this hotel had availability as our group was desperate. Our flight was canceled out of the Gulfport/Biloxi airport and rebooked out of New Orleans. We didn’t have much to pick from in such short notice as every place we called did not have anything available. They also didn’t have airport transportation, which I found odd since it is so close to the airport. I wouldn’t recommend staying here more than a night, if you have the choice.
