Good affordable choice

Good location, an easy walk to Frenchman and Bourbon Street. Felt very safe walking back to my room by myself in the middle the night. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Air conditioner worked well, and there was a ceiling fan above the bed. Shower not great, and there was no table or desk. I would stay again.

I stay there all of the time. It’s close to the Quarter and a large grocery store. The rooms are just as good as any in the quarter but cheaper and quieter. Has a courtyard and sometimes open bar. Staff is friendly and if you don’t mind bringing your own towels up or sheets they will get them to you quick. Very close to Frenchmen Street and St. Claude bars and restaurants. Rooms are fairly clean I’ve for sure paid more fore ones in the quarter that are not as nice. Fun place!

Could have been better/cleaner

It was gross. The pictures looked way better than it was. The room itself does have potential and could be a cute place to stay but it wasn't clean well at all. The was vomit on one of the sides of the bed, the trash can in the kitchen smelled like a dead animal after removing the trash bag from it, and there wasn't a whole lot of lighting. The location wasn't the cleanest either but I'm not sure if it was just that part of new Orleans or not.

We had an excellent stay, just for one night. Exactly as advertised, lovely staff and a 15 minute walk to The French Quarter through the beautiful colonial colourful and quaint homes of the french Quarter along the walk.

The aesthetic of the place is very fun and whimsical which I enjoyed and the person checking us in was nice. That being said, the property itself was very musty and had a distinct cigarette smell very prominent. There was also hair on the towels in the kitchen, and the bedding was itchy. Overall if I was just rating on the fun experience part it would be good, but the cleanliness or lack of brought this rating down a lot.
