everything was good , we came down for new years …. It’s down the street from casino across the street from the outlet and probably a seven minute walk from Bourbon street. Only con I see there parking, hard to get a parking spot unless you use valet which is 50 dollars every day

I stayed at the Riverfront Hotel for 2 nights two weeks before Christmas. Staff was courteous and helpful. My room was on the 5th floor that's clean and quiet, probably because there were not many people in the hotel. I could hear someone next door taking shower in the morning though. I requested in advance a microwave in my room, which is very convenient. There's free bottled water everyday, but they are not supplied in the room. You need to request at the front desk. There's a $130 deposit per room. It was returned to me 2 weeks after I checked out. The hotel is near Bourbon Street and WWII museum. An Outlet is across the street for shopping. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby that I found convenient. My overall experience was excellent and I recommend the Riverfront Hotel.

Best mattresses. Firm pillows that are still soft without engulfing your face. Quiet rooms. Walked everywhere. Very friendly staff. Took good care of us. Was a last minute swap from a not so nice hotel in a not good part of town. Major upgrade without breaking the bank. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property but the carpet in the room and on our floor was worn out and the towels were scratchy. No lotion or any of the normal types of items you normally see in an Omni hotel. When we arrived there was no one to take our bags to our room and the phone didn’t work in our room. If you are looking for a view there is not one from the rooms at this property. I would also suggest the hotel change the double beds to queen size beds. The 2 mattresses in our room were concave and very uncomfortable. The refrigerator is very small and will only hold a few drinks. The worst Omni Hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Check in took a while as there was one person as the counter and the party ahead of us was having issues. Once checked in, took about 20+ mins to get to us, was seamless to get to the room. However, upon checkout, they told us, while we were waiting for a trolley to be brought up, that at 11:22am, they could charge us $125 extra for “late check out”. Seemed quite unprofessional.
