First of all, the room was supposed to be ready upon our arrival. After a long road trip from Florida, we arrived at the hotel around 7:00 p.m. We were instructed to park in the garage and waited several minutes for assistance with our luggage, but no one came, so we had to carry our bags ourselves.
When we reached the reception desk, we were informed that our room was not ready and that it was still being checked to ensure everything was in order. At that point, it was already past 7:00 p.m. After waiting about 20 minutes, I asked to speak with a supervisor to inquire about the delay, but the supervisor never came to speak with us. Shortly afterward, we were simply given the room keys without any apology.
Once inside the room, we noticed a strange smell in the bathroom. The beds were not queen-sized as expected; they were quite small, and the sheets were very rough, almost like sandpaper. If we hadn’t been so exhausted, we would not have stayed. Overall, our experience at this hotel was very unpleasant.
