Excellent location - beautiful spot just a short walk from everything. Friendly staff that accommodated our dog with no issues; it was great to be in a room by the courtyard so we could take Peanut outside easily. The room was cute and comfortable. Loved our room and stay. If you want an authentic New Orleans residential place to stay, this is the place! They have 2 properties one across the street from another. I would have enjoyed it better if we were staying at the property with the pool and hot tub. We had to walk across the street to get to it.

A generally quiet area, close to bus lines and the trolley, walkable distance to a few restaurants. Although I don't know if it's intended to be pet friendly, we did have a neighbor who had a loud barking dog.

We had the whole lovely courtyard to ourselves every evening and the whole place felt like apartments more than a hotel. Staff were fast to respond and helpful. The property is historic and my room was a bit musty smelling but our stay was a success. We walked to the French Quarter in 5 min and there were convenience stores and a few restaurants just a few blocks away.
