The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very nice and informative. The breakfast was great but I wish there was a waffle selection as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking and the steep valet prices if you wanted to be by the building and not walk for half a mile or worry about your vehicle

The room was extremely dated, worn. The glass towel holder in the bathroom was coming off the wall. There is nonair conditioning, had to leave the overhead fans on, the fan in the bedroom made a terrible noise all night so we woke up lots, but needed to suffee thru that rather than the humid room. The lobby is scented and if you are sensitive, it will knock your socks off. The hotel is walking distance to the pier to get a cruise which was our reason for staying there. There are alsonsome great restaurants in the area. I will stay elsewhere next time in NOLA.

The hotel is badly in need of updating. Our room was clean, but the carpet is old, sink drain didn’t seal, bathroom door scrapes the toilet, and the thermostat did whatever it wanted. They only clean rooms once a week unless you ask for more. We did twice. First was Christmas Day. “No service today.” Understandable, but when we reminded the desk the next morning, we were told we needed to give 24 hrs notice. We asked the day before, but didn’t get it. Breakfast was good. Valet service was fine.

Make no mistake, this is a 3.5 star hotel only. Its not a 4 or a 3.9, its a solid 3.5. But the breakfast was good and the gym was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and you can walk to a lot of places from there. There was no trashcan in the kitchen area. But the room was clean and the bathrooms weren't scary.

It started great with them allowing us to check in around 10am. All we did was leave our bags in our room and left for the day. We didn't return until 11pm, to find several people wondering around in the atrium and about 10-12 people going in and out of the room next to ours slamming the door. There was also trash and sheets outside of several rooms in piles. As we tried to ignore the ruckus and shower but the shower was backed up. So i went down to reception to swap our room. The Staff was helpful and switched our room, room was in better shape and shower was good. But, the ruckus continued as I write this review at 1:25am. there's yelling in the Atrium and a crowd of about 9-10 people out in the courtyard. I advised the security guard twice that there was a party or a gathering going on and nothing was done. Disappointing stay and going to look into getting a refund. I will also be reaching out to corporate.
