Walk a few blocks to Bacchanal, the restaurant & bar that consistently tops tourists' “must-visit” lists, or discover your own foodie favorites like amazing BBQ restaurant The Joint. With its close proximity to the French Quarter and no shortage of things to do right around our home, this is the perfect location to soak up everything Nola has to offer.

Getting Around:

The best way to get around is by bike or Uber. The main Bywater dives (The Country Club, Oaxalis, Suis Generis, Elizabeth's, etc.) are less than a 5 minute walk. The French Quarter is a short taxi/uber away; however, many locals prefer to spend time here in the Marigny/Bywater, on Frenchman Street, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes that are all nearby.



Walking in this neighborhood is safe, but we do recommend that you be aware of your surroundings at all times and make sure the door is locked as you come and go.

The house was perfect for our group. There is plenty of gathering space, a lovely patio for morning coffee and all the amenities. We were three blocks from the world’s greatest bakery, the Bywater Bakery. Walking distance to delicious barbecue at the joint and three dollar cocktails at JJ‘s. I love a walkable neighborhood!
