The property was beauty, however, upon arrival my daughter and I received 4 wristbands for the rooftop pool for the weekend. We arrived late Friday evening. We checked into our room and unpacked and I placed the wristbands on the desk along with their informational flyer so we had everything together. On Saturday we went into the city and did some sight seeing. When we returned to our room my daughter said she wanted to go to the pool and saw the wristbands were no longer in the desk. I called down to the front desk to asked for replacement and they questioned me where I put them and I must have lost them or misplaced them. I told them I had not, but our room had been made up by housekeeping so maybe they accidentally grabbed them. The front floral person was extremely defensive and said housekeeping would never do that. She indicated they would go ahead and give us replacements but it’ll it happens again we would be charged $20 per wristbands. I understand, if I had lost them, I would have been happy to pay for it, but this front desk person was very rude and unfortunately left a sour taste for us the rest of our stay every time we walked I to the Virgin hotel. So much for the customer always being right.
