If you just want some where to lay your head this is the place. If you are looking for modern day amenities stay away. Room was small, had no dresser where even the cheapest rooms have a dresser. No microwave. AC unit was very outdated. I have stayed in less expensive rooms that were updated and had better amenities. Definitely not romantic get away!!! Pictures are deceiving.

Upon check-in, the hotel staffer said out loud the floor we were on. As a female alone at check in, I felt this was unsafe. Parking was very dissatisfactory we were barely able to turn in the parking garage & get a mid sized car parked. Also, we were unable to turn the heat on in our room due to the smell and dust.

Hotel is in need of repairs and has become very rundown! House keeping will not clean your room unless you request by being added to the cleaning list and even once added they did not clean our room. We stayed 3 nights with no cleaning. Fresh towels and toiletries were requested at the front desk other wise you had none. Lobby is in fair condition but the rooms are humid and in need of a major remodel. The Indian restaurant at the property has some great food I will say that. Will not be staying here again and try other options.

The only reason why we chose this hotel was because it was specifically advertised as having parking. We learned the hard way that that was not entirely true. Not only was the (very limited) parking full but it was also very expensive! Is it that hard to advertise that parking is limited and how much you charge for parking? Quit being so sneaky, Shame on you

I am going to stick with the pro/con review style, but I will start by saying that I will NOT stay at this hotel again. Pro (only 1): Location - This hotel is located in a great location. The two major plans I had while in New Orleans were to see the basketball game and visit the WWII Museum. The Smoothie King Center and the WWII Museum were both just a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It only took a few minutes to walk to Canal street and around 5-7 minutes to get to Bourbon street. Cafe Du Monde was about a 20 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Cons: Staff interactions: While every interaction with hotel staff was not terrible, most of them were. My first morning of my vacation (after driving in the previous day) started at 5:20 AM with a call from the front desk saying that there was a noise complaint about my room. My son and I were both sound asleep until that phone call woke us up. I still don't know what the deal was with that, but it ruined my day. I can't go back to sleep once someone wakes me up. I was so exhausted for everything that day. I felt like I was going through the motions, instead of enjoying the experiences in New Orleans. When the staff member called that morning, and I was clearly half asleep, he was not apologetic at all. Another unacceptable interaction was when I tried to ask for my room to be cleaned. I asked the person at the front desk (I believe his name was James) if he could give me a time that they were co

The front desk girl was SO kind and sweet. The rooms were clean, and I felt very safe at this hotel! Walkable distance to the quarter and to the stadiums!

If ever there were a place to make a traveler reflect upon the error of their ways, this establishment is it. I arrived hopeful, purse in hand, only to be greeted by a chamber so hot it might have been rented from the lower circles. Thus began my forced pilgrimage to a second room, for comfort was clearly an optional luxury. Alas, the true specter awaited me not in the walls but in a humble bag meant to house a hair dryer. Within lay a most unwelcome relic of another guest—proof that cleanliness here is but a ghost of its former self. I reported this horror to the front desk, who assured me they had texted the head of housekeeping, as though exorcising a demon by message alone. Yet when I returned, the very same dryer, in the very same bag, remained—unchanged, unrepentant, and unforgettable. Yuck, indeed. Departure offered no redemption. The clerk at the front desk had to be awakened from slumber, and even as I spoke, she drifted back toward it—though, miracle of miracles, she roused herself just enough to charge me fifteen dollars for absolutely nothing. The lobby served as a sort of wayward refuge, with strange souls sleeping where guests ought to pass freely, and the garage—oh, the garage! Narrow, unforgiving, and hostile to any vehicle larger than a modest sedan, it is less a place to park and more a trial of faith and fenders. Take heed, future travelers. Consider well before booking, lest you too shall regret.

Hotel location is great, however one of our two rooms were wrong. They did move us to the correct room but, but ut took 2 moves and the first room they moved us to smelled like pee which came from the couch pull out (there was a huge pee stain). The hotel did change our room for that(again). Then, One of our rooms key card quit working so we spent 30 minutes waiting at the front desk to fix it. It was fixed. Only 1 elevator was working so we ended up using the stairs a few times. Hotel did seem short staffed.

Lovely large modern clean room in big hotel. The only downside to my stay was that other guests were very loudly talking and opening/closing doors noisily throughout the whole night. Maybe I was just unlucky with my neighbours.
