This hotel is located in the central area of New Orleans. We really liked being able to walk throughout the main city area. We were able to take the streetcar to our cruise port. Our next trip to New Orleans we'll be staying here.

Good location and walkable. Safe. For the price is okay. The hotel does look older the rooms are badly lit and not well taken care of. Not that It was dirty. It just looks like It needs fresh paint jobs, patch work and new bathroom door knobs.

Door key had to be reprogrammed at least three times. No maid service. Had to go to the front desk for everything linens etc. Key didn’t work in garage. Had to walk all the way around the building each time

Nice property in a central location. Parking was difficult, and I got hit by a drunk driver (my car) while I was at a red light who ended up taking off after I asked for his information. Not the hotel's issue but just the neighborhood is pretty dense and populated with alot of bars/restaurants, so just be mindful. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
