I was reluctant to rent a VRBO for my family that was not on the beach. It turned out better than expected. The home is within 15 minutes of the beach, but we ended up not spending that much time on the beach. We were close to the restaurants, Publix, Walmart, Marine Discovery Center, and lots more. Cindy and her husband had stocked the place with everything we thought we might have to buy when we got there. They even left fruit and condiments and spices, etc. We just had to buy the basic foods we planned for dinner each night and not spend lots on spices and paper towels and whatnot. The pool area is large and stocked with several water floats and toys. There is a SPA attached to the pool, but it was not used because the air temperatures were into the 90's. The property is on a 2.5-acre lot and is off the main streets, so it is very quiet and away from the heavy tourist areas. The places we were looking at on the beach were refurbed old homes and to me looked like frat houses. (kind of worn but repainted 5 times and passes for nice). This place is in great shape, Cindy makes sure you are happy with it.

Our family had an amazing stay! The home and property were absolutely beautiful, and the pool was a highlight for everyone. Having pool and beach toys available was such a thoughtful bonus. We even cooked our Thanksgiving dinner there and enjoyed it poolside—it couldn’t have been more perfect! Cindy was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay.
