I had a great stay at the Ace. Compared to hotels I've stayed at in Manhatten, I felt truly at home. Staff were super friendly but not in your face, room is large enough to spread out. Carpet on the floors is gross, and the curtains were pulled slightly off the runner but you can't have everything. I would also add that for the price it seems weird there's no complementary water in the room. Seems an easy win for them. Super convenient getting into the city and from JFK. I even walked to my office in tribeca on two of the days.

Great location near Downtown Brooklyn. Easy walk to Atlantic Avenue area for shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Staff was attentive and terrific when needed.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The building itself is beautiful. It's worth noting there's no coffee in the rooms, which past reviews had shared. I appreciated knowing this ahead of time so I could plan for it. The location was incredibly convenient for getting in and out of Manhattan. They also gave me early check-in. Would 100% stay again.

We spent the night at the Ace because of a concert we were attending at the Barclays Center - this seemed like a great location. It turned out that it was! It was an easy walk and the surrounding neighborhood is nice, we felt safe the entire time. The hotel has a very cozy vibe and the staff was great - very casual and friendly, not like checking into a normal corporate hotel but that was a bonus. The room was spacious and well appointed with great views, the decor is eclectic and our room even included a record player which we did use. Overall a very pleasant stay and I will recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Brooklyn.
