I was on the 4th floor with suitcases and had to leave suitcases because elevator was broken, got locked out of the room for a few hours- door battery stopped working and locksmith had to be called. I didn’t make plane on time (3 passengers) lost the plane. Competition would be appreciated.

Disappointed in general

Hotel was under renovation and the elevator was out of order ( my room was on floor 4!) The front desk person did carry my suitcase up but not down when I left. Also had to climb up 4 floors every time I left the hotel and at night alone. The tile in hallway was unfinished and therefore a hazard. Door security hinge was not functioning ( half was missing ) Room was fine and clean. Parking is very difficult but the municipal lot a block away was reasonably priced and safe.

The stay was good for the most part. Our blinds were broken to allow us to rolls up or down. So we decided to keep ours down otherwise the building across the way would be able to watch us. We also found the thermostat wouldn’t go down and it stayed too warm in our room for our liking. You can tell that they were renovating and would love to come back after to see how the rooms are updated! Overall, it was a great trip and the hotel along with the location was fantastic!!

Decent hotel in a nice area

The Best Western Gregory is a good hotel in a nice area. We were visiting Brooklyn for a concert and were happy to find this hotel was within walking distance to shopping, food (grab a slice of pizza at Mancini's and thank me later) and the subway. There were so many great places within a few blocks and the area felt safe even when walking at night. Hotel staff were friendly and check-in was a breeze. Our room was clean and we were pleased to see it was a decent size and there was a closet and a refrigerator. We would stay again when visiting Brooklyn or Manhattan.

3:00pm check in and room was ready after 5:00pm. The front desk speak broken English and ask me to pay 2 hundred because they didn't get any funds from me I told him I have already paid and I won't pay another cent. He finally give in and i went to my. The next day i did my business came back 6pm the room was never clean and there were no maids service. I was too tired so i have my rest . just don't want any argument . Oh, there are very active subway runs underground and vibrant every 15 minutes. So if you no problem with these issues, go a head and pay premium price and stay. I won't recommend this place.

Property needs attention. No soap or shampoo in dispensers. They were completely empty. Water had to run in shower for 15 minutes before it got even lukewarm. Would not stay here again.
