Me and my wife had a wonderful romantic get away into NYC. Our stay at the Truss hotel was very nice! From the minute we got there we were welcomed to early a check-in, which was wonderful after our long journey that day. The women at the front desk (Ashley) made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we got there and gave great suggestions for food!! The room was clean and cool (over looking 9th ave). The location was very convenient to all the things we had planned

Overall the hotel was clean, the rooms were quite large and had all the amenities. We were very pleased with the hotel. The issue was that we didn’t have hot water for our entire stay, which was 3 nights. I spoke to the front desk each day and they said an engineer was coming and we should let the water run 10 min. We let it run everyday to no avail. Unfortunately that is a major complaint and we do not plan on staying there again.

The staff was amazing. The rooms weren’t fancy but they were clean and quiet. I loved the fridge and the microwave. I would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room and I never did come across an ice machine.

Room was clean but very rundown, as was the whole hotel in general. The highlights included the great service, the room size and the location. Our family of 4 had a two bedroom suite with one and a half baths. Overall would consider the hotel again for future stays.
