The hotel is centrally located and in a safe area. The hotel has high turnover, consequently the rooms are rundown, the carpet was shabby, the bed lumpy and was the towels need to be replaced.

Expedia had a king room with pullout sofa listed as best price, which is what I booked. Upon arrival, I was given a two double room. Not happy, but too tired to argue. Expedia also lists “free airport shuttle” for this hotel. There is no free shuttle to either airport in NYC here. I was ordered a car by the front desk, driver spoke little English and tried getting me to pay the $77 fee in cash multiple times. This lack of advertised free airport shuttle was the most upsetting part of the stay along with the attempted scam by the driver the hotel called for me. Do better. This is a good way to not have returning customers.

Our room was clean and neat, but no frills (eg no laundry bag, shower cap, etc). Also room carpet starting to fray and needs updating. Overall good place to stay at NYC prices

Spacious junior suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed - perfect for the 4 of us. Next to a metro. Good area next to convenience store and near restaurants. Within 20 minutes walk to many tourist areas in midtown. Friendly staff.
