Not bad for a slightly cheaper stay

Picked the hotel as it seemed cheaper than many in and around NYC, although still not cheap. The stay was nice. Felt a bit basic in places, but the room had everything you might want, including fridge and microwave. My biggest grumble was that the window wasn't that sound proof. I stayed two nights and on the first someone nearby seemed to be having some kind of street party with very loud music. It was easy to hear from inside the room until quite late. The second night was quiet enough. Some free pastries at breakfast time which I wasn't expecting. The surrounding area seems a bit run down, but felt safe. Not a great deal of food nearby, other than a number of take aways. About 0.5 mile to an F line subway station. Also, walkable to Roosevelt island although about a mile for that.

Customer service was top-notch. I arrived early, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate me by securely holding my suitcase until check-in. The room although very small, was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, even though it consisted mostly of sweets. Overall, it's a great hotel with attentive staff, though it is located in a sketchier part of town.

A pleasant stay

Overall a pleasant stay, you get what you see. It was a new property when I stayed there (May 2025) so everything was well maintained and staff was friendly. Close to subway station so you can easily reach downtown Manhattan in 20-30 mins.

Property ownership and staffs were great. However, the surrounding area was very noisy during our stay. We were unable to sleep until 3 am one night due to loud speaker music on the nearby street. The property personnel informed the police for noise complaint but nothing happened. Great hotel but reserve with your own luck.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I got in late friday night and had issues with my bank card and had to contact my bank's customer service department to help me. But the gentleman at the desk was very accommodating, and very patient until I got things.squared away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others

The room stinks.The TV remote is difficult to use. Not enough shampoo, conditioners, and soap bars for four people.Pillows are flat, and my neck hurts the next day. For the price, can’t complain too much.
