Check in was easy. Property is kept clean and tidy(they did come late some days to clean rooms but I assume this was after the weekend check outs on the same floor). Breakfast is great (remember to go early). The Lifts.... Hyatt place could be 5 star but those lifts need some work. The four of them do not work together at all, we were on the 35th floor and had to ride them up to be able to go down to the foyer or breakfast during peak times. Other than that it was relatively easy to get in or out from them. There was the one morning getting stuck in the lift for about 10 mins because it was overloaded from the foyer.

Good location. When we arrived at the hotel for check in - the line was massive! It went down the hall and around the corner. We dreaded standing there to wait. But the staff moved people through so quickly and when we got to the front, despite how busy & hectic it was, the person who helped us was still very pleasant and fast!

The hotel is great and offers one of the best views of midtown you’ll see in the whole city. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location on W 24th is perfect for reaching major tourist spots on foot. The rooms are a little on the small side and maybe instead of a sofa bed they would be better served with a larger wardrobe for longer stays. But this is the only issue we found during a week long stay. Great hotel.

This hotel was very clean, up to date and convenient. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The location is conveniently located in midtown and a very short walk to the subway and trains that can take you anywhere you want to go. The area around the hotel is not the cleanest part of NYC but it is safe. The hotel staff even stored are bags upon our early arrival so we could easily explore the city. Going down on the elevators was at times difficult due to the amount of floors but it was a minor inconvenience.
