We had a great time at the Tempo by Hilton Times square. The location was ideal; the security was constantly present and effective. The cocktail bar is nice. The check-in process could have been a little more rapid, the lobby is too cozy; and the food selections are limited, but since there are so many alternatives surrounding Times Square, it was hardly missed. While this was a "last minute" stay and our choices were limited, we were fortunate to have chosen the Tempo. We had a lot of fun.

Broken shades providing zero view for our entire stay, flickering lights in the bathroom, a front door that jams each time you try to lock/unlock, and a refrigerator that did not cool. I brought these issues up to front desk staff our first morning at the hotel. Thankfully the refrigerator was quickly fixed. The most disappointing of the issues, the broken shades, was never addressed. This was kindly brought up to staff each morning of our stay. Each time we were promised they would be fixed immediately. It never was, and more upsetting, there was never even as much as a follow up. When a generic message was sent by management asking to rate our stay so far, I replied and also never received a response or any kind of follow up. When you come to NYC, especially at a location like this, having a view of the city is a very important part of your stay. Unfortunately, we were never able to see outside of our room. The (lack of) response from staff was even more disappointing than the issue.

Views from my room were incredible, but could've been cleaner. Scratchy towels and not great shampoo/conditioner, but the Bluetooth mirror was cool. Don't forget to check your bill at the restaurant - gratuity is automatically included! Staff were very nice and helpful, location was amazing for walking to the subway and Broadway shows. Overall would recommend for location and views alone.

This was an amazing stay and would highly recommend staying here. It is in the heart of Times Square but the best thing about the hotel is how you are welcomed and treated during the duration of your stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was in fantastic condition and the house keeping department made sure to help with the room while I was out during the day. Definitely will be coming back!
