Disappointing.

No toilet paper twice after asking a second time. I had to ask the maid for some from her cart. Shower drain inoperative both days I stayed, no permanent fix after I asked. Bed OK, room clean, staff functional. No more than 2 star, but convenient for my needs.

Great Location

I always try to stay at the Court. The staff is wonderful and location is close to Grand Central Station. Really good restaurant sin the area. The hotel needs updating but is still worth going.

Falling apart

This hotel has not been properly maintained, there is practically no service and no one seemed to be in charge. We had to ask for toiletry and wash clothes upon arrival, and then help ourselves from the cart in the hallway. The carpet in the room was repaired with tape, the bathroom was rusted, furniture finish pealing. The heating system needed a maintenance person to make it work three times in a 7 day stay. The explanation for this disarray: this hotel will be closed at the end of April '18, so maintenance is at a minimum. The rating of 3.9 does not reflect today's reality - except for the location. This used to be a great place to stay during our past trips to NYC, not anymore.

This place was really dirty. There was physical dirt, dust, stains and holes in most things, and I have attached a couple pictures for a sampling of the grossness. In addition, when I first arrived, I noticed that the toiletries in the bathroom had been used and there was no soap. When house-keeping came by the next day, they took away all the dirty towels, but didn't replace them. The bed was "made" like it had been made by toddler. By the way, if a toddler had made the bed like that, I would give them a gold star, but not a paid professional. No. In addition, the gym is not onsite. It's too bad, because the bar downstairs is really nice. That's about the only good thing I can say about this place.

Fantastic Hotel in a Centrally Located Area

Unreal hotel and service! Centrally located in the heart of Manhattan, you do not need a car you can walk everywhere. We walked from the hotel to MSG, TImes Square, Rockerfeller Center etc.

Very convenient location in midtown Manhattan.

Perfect location, great price for stay. Room very big. Just bathroom kind of old, rusty bathtub with bad drain and shower head little broken. But you can definitely take a shower and stay clean. Bed very comfortable. I will definitely stay at the same hotel when visiting NYC next time.

A gem and a bargain

By NYC standards, the room was notably large. Very friendly staff. Quiet. Unusually good gym available at the (more expensive) sister hotel next door. Not opulently furnished, but a relatively charming older building. Extraordinarily good value for the (below Holiday Inn / Comfort Hotels) price range. At anything like this price, will definitely stay there again

Filthy ikky hotel

This has to be one of the dirtiest gloomy hotels I have ever been to. It’s more of a run down germ infested motel. Housekeeping should all be fired filthy bathrooms hair everywhere, bed skirts had white gross stains.

The hotel is shutting down and you really feel it. I used to stay there in the past and it was fine but this time was awful. The first room that I stayed in was in an unacceptable condition with large stains on the floor, lights that did not work and incredibly noisy. I asked to change room and nobody got back to me for 3 days. They finally gave me a different room which was a lot better, but it was too late to change my negative impression. They are clearly shutting down and not putting any energy into it.

Quite Pleased

I have become a hotel junkie. I just book hotels cause I have always loved staying at hotels of all levels. Actually I should create my own column on hotel stays lol. This hotel, its location, surroundings, pricing, staff, one can not really go wrong. The welcoming front desk staff are attentive, and quick upon check in. Geez, I temporarily forgot thee blond ones name but the 3 times I have been here thus far she has been most sweet. Now, the rooms. I started with the KBR. Over 440 ft. Most spacious. Loved the long bathroom. Women would love that extra vanity area. The chaise chair was comfortable as was the bed and pillows. I normally have fights with beds and pillows and didnt nearly fight as much here. Wifi was iffy, a bit slow but most hotels are. I had a smaller KBR, but cozy, and had a balcony. Only thing is you can see and hear your neighbors when out there. Blocking off that would be awesome for temporary privacy. The rates are most reasonable and if you look good enough can even find a better one for their rooms. Walking distance to everything, whether there for business or pleasure. There is no doubt during my bouncing around of hotels, I will find myself back here for another stay.
