Stayed in the area for a concert happening at Barclays Center. Very close to 36th st station, which was an express train stop. A no big fills hotels. Basic rooms which were fine for a quick trip to NYC. Decently sized bathroom. Plenty of little cafes and restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, along with the Industry City complex right there.

No frills, but clean and did the trick. Fairly close to the subway. I had 1 night in NY and this worked out great. some new paint, wallpaper and curtains would up the game substantially. Would recommend for a short stay.

The room walls are paper thin at this hotel. We could hear what the room next to us was watching, saying etc. Also the bathroom was not very clean, hair in the shower and stains on the ceiling.

You get what you pay for. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline but my coffee machine as broken (not a big deal) and the building is in okay shape. I would stay there again but don't expect anything fancy and the location while good if need to be close by isn't really good for anything else unless you want to see Greenwood Cemetary
