The hotel looked like a good choice online but reality was not the same. The hotel is in an industrial part of New Jersey with not much nearby. Despite no smoking signs around, hallways and elevator smelled like smoke. Hallway looked a bit dismal and every time we walked down the hall, there was garbage on the ground (crumbs, crumpled papers, etc - like some guests were just dropping whatever).

Clean room. Nice staff. Two issues - room we had didn’t have a working exhaust fan so the room would get muggy after every shower. We asked to switch as was told all rooms are like this. Which I don’t believe because we recently stayed at this hotel and didn’t haven’t this problem.

I have stayed at this property many times mainly for the location. They are doing some recent upgrades to the property in terms of flooring and the mattresses in the room. However there is alot of basic elements that was not a problem before. In the shower there is no hot water. You have to keep the water on for a long time or switch it on and off in order to get water that is warm enough. During the day I went to use the washroom and noticed that ther was no water in the taps or the toliet. When I called the front desk they told me that maintenance turned it off as they are working. I asked why I wasn't told they said they can't call every guest. As mentioned before the new mattresses are new as they are firmer and higher however the pillows are worn and flat and should be discarded. The hotel is clean but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

They were during construction every day around the property. The room had a smell and needs updating. It was clean enough and outdated. I won't come back to this hotel.
