We'd love for you to enjoy our favourite place on earth. Our little cottage sits right on the edge of Churchlake in Nova Scotia's South Shore — the kind of spot where you arrive stressed and leave wondering why you don't live like this all the time.
It's simple, calm, and honestly just really lovely. Think clean lines, natural wood, good light, and nothing you don't need. The dock is yours, the lake is quiet, and the sunsets are ridiculous in the best possible way.
Make yourself at home
There are two bedrooms sleeping up to four, a proper kitchen so you can actually cook, fast WiFi if you need to work, and a washer/dryer in case you need it. Just a little warning at that point: we do have a dug well and ask you to be very mindful of the use of water. The heat pump keeps things cozy whether you're visiting in the height of summer or when the leaves start turning in October — both are genuinely magical here.
Get out and explore
Mahone Bay is just down the road — grab a coffee, wander the waterfront, stay for dinner. Lunenburg is close too and absolutely worth a full day. There are beautiful beaches nearby when you feel like the ocean, and some great hiking trails when you want to stretch your legs. Or just stay on the dock. We won't judge.
A couple of things
Well-behaved pets are very welcome — they'll love it here just as much as you will. We just ask that you keep things smoke-free indoors and keep the gatherings small and friendly. No parties or events please.
